Thank you, Texas for finally getting your act together so I can wear a good ol’ sweater dress! I count down to these coveted weeks each and every year. As the weather gets chillier, it can be a bit more difficult to figure out what to wear to church or family dinners! It’s so easy to want to throw on leggings and an oversized sweater, but you can get tired of wearing that over and over. I picked up this dress because I thought it would be perfect for both occasions. Sorry to the people that sit behind me at church, I am a serious outfit repeater! 😉

It’s so soft which is perfect for mornings you are running late! If I don’t have a ton of time to throw an outfit together I don’t like to be fidgeting with buttons or ironing a wrinkled blouse and you don’t have to do any of that with this look. I’m wearing a size S and it fits TTS but if you’re in between sizes you could definitely go down a size as I think if I weren’t pregnant I’d grab an XS! Another reason I love this dress is that if you do work in an environment that is more casual, you could totally wear this or even the darker hue it is available in. A lot of my girlfriends are teachers and after I posted this on insta they said they’d love to wear this to work paired with their favorite Tory Burch flats.

I’ll keep today’s post a little shorter as I’m sure you’re trying to finish up work so you can enjoy your holiday or you may be traveling to visit family. We are trying to squeeze in some last minute holiday shoots as I’m starting to shoot for my maternity leave which is crazy to think about! Thank you so much for stopping by I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend with your family and friends.

P.S. if you are looking for a healthy breakfast to make tomorrow check out this recipe I posted!

P.S.S. if your family is like mine and starts something on Netflix post meal, try Madam Secretary! Paul and I started it about a month ago and I’m so hooked!
