Rachel Zoe Luxe Sport Collection + Giveaway

Two years ago, my most frequent e-mails revolved around recommendations for date night dresses and blogging tips. Fast forward to 2018 and it’s all about the baby products. While I still love to give a recommendation for where you can find the best queso in Dallas and the most flattering sundress to wear while dining, I love the new influx of new questions! Because as a new mom there is a lot of trial and error to be had as you navigate which products will work best for your family and which products both you and your husband will love. I love our high chair, my husband thinks it hates him. But that’s another battle….

In regards to your questions, many of you have asked which convertible car seat we went with. I shared on the blog a few months back that when our pediatrician told us we could transition we purchased the Pria 85 that Rachel Zoe designed in her Jet Set collection for Maxi Cosi and Quinny. I took my time researching and polling all my girlfriends and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase.

About a month ago, I found out Rachel Zoe designed a new line with them called the Luxe Sport Collection. Think a line designed with the modern and active mom in mind. The collection is black and white with champagne accents and about as chic as they come. Being a fan and customer of the prior collection, I jumped at the opportunity to learn more. I partnered with them today to spoil a mommy-to-be and share some details of this collection in case you are registering for your little one.

The collection contains everything you need from newborn to toddler life. This is the Maxi-Cosi Mico Max 30 and it’s the car seat my mother-in-law purchased for us when I was pregnant. We took Maxi home from the hospital in it and the nice thing is is that it is one of the most light weight infant carriers on the market.

The Quinny Luxe Sport Diaper Bag is huge and if you heard my rant on diaper bags in my “February Favorites” post it covers the bases. As a mom, you’re always stuck between a diaper bag and a tote and this combines both factors. You’re getting an interior insulated pocket for breast milk and cold items but also a strap that transitions from tote to crossbody in case you need to chase after another child. I was most impressed by the insulated pocket simply because I remember carrying Yeti cups filled with frozen breast milk as we ran errands. This is also an extremely deep diaper bag, so if you have two little ones you’d have more than enough room for your items.

This is the Quinny Zapp Flex Plus and because I have owned 2 products out of the collection, I asked if I could take this {new-to-me item} outside with Maxi and really get a feel for it for about 20 minutes. First off, it’s a beautiful stroller, that’s hard to deny. But in terms of functionality, I couldn’t get over the wheels. They are rubber wheels {I learned not all strollers have this feature which is why this stroller was so easy to maneuver} so it is extremely light to push and the wheels never get “stuck.” Another aspect I really liked is that the hood is water-resistant and you can just wipe away stains. You can use this stroller from birth to travel with a toddler.

Out of the entire collection, this is the feature I’m most excited about. This is the Pria 85 Luxe Sport Max Convertible Car Seat which we have, but the new model Rachel designed has the ClipQuik feature where the chest clip buckles quickly. This is due to a magnetic clip sliding the clip in place. You can slide your hand like I’m doing and the clip is securely fastened. I harp on this a lot because it can be a little uncomfortable putting your child in the car when you’re in a parking lot. Most of the time I’m in a situation in which I can put myself in the car, too and close the door. But there are instances that can’t happen and I want to get Maxi in her seat quickly and securely. When I saw this collection in person I tested this clip about 10 times because I just wasn’t sure if it was a feature that would make that much of a difference. From someone who has the prior car seat, I can honestly say I saw such a huge difference that I’m putting this car seat in my car. We originally wanted to get our hands on this car seat for Paul’s car, but we both decided that we just feel more comfortable putting it in my car since I’m the one running the most errands with her.

Now that Maxi is 1, I feel a lot more confident reviewing baby products and sharing what brands worked for us. But what makes me more thrilled is to partner with this collection as these are products we have faithfully used and now a reader can use them as well! One lucky mommy-to-be {or mom!} will win a Maxi Cosi Mico Max 30 and Quinny Zapp Flex Plus. To have a chance at winning, enter below.

Hi Meaghan! I’m so sorry, we just used that method because I need a standard method of entry so the random number generator can get the entries accurately. I always use a free social site so while I don’t want to encourage you to do an extra step and go out of your way, some people will just make one for the giveaway and delete once over! xo

Yes!! I was shocked at how light it is! Because some strollers when you get out of the car are unbelievably heavy. While I’m not expecting, I always wonder how a pregnant mother would get a super heavy stroller out of the back of the car for her toddler. xo

They’re an investment and I know we will use them so frequently that it’s so important that they are functional and safe. You talk so highly of this line and I know you’ve mentioned many times before how well it’s worked for you guys – fingers crossed!
