When I was writing this post I tweeted:

“It has happened. A year into writing a fashion blog & I have hit writers block. I’m about to put, “You’ll look cute in this. The end.”

Then I realized, I hadn’t hit writer’s block [denial always works best ;)], I just found a piece that speaks for itself. This jacket from Sage Threads Co. doesn’t scream, “Look at me.” Instead it says, “I’m polished and pulled together.” When I found this piece the cut reminded me so much of my favorite Helmut Lang tops. This minimalistic structure is my favorite way to achieve a chic look and requires no thought getting ready. Just add lipstick and you are on your way to being the cutest “It” girl on the block.
