Mini Bags

I have a teeny tiny obsession with mini bags! Something about taking an original and miniaturizing it makes me feel even more inclined to add it to my collection. On Christmas this year I got my mom a Zac Posen satchel and was so excited when she got me this mini version
My favorite thing about this mini bag is that it actually fits items because the “mom” version of the bag is so large! Most of the time my mini bags fit half a cracker and my car key. Thankfully, this fits my wallet, keys, lipstick, makeup bag and phone! [Most probably wouldn’t even call this mini, but think Olsen twin sizing when it comes to bags!]
As hilarious as it was that we got each other these “mom and baby” bags, it wasn’t too shocking. I have my mom’s personality to a tee and the older I get the more our wardrobe is identical. Like we matched 3 times last week and it wasn’t even planned, identical.
If you like designer bags, but don’t want to splurge too much, these bags are also a great option! I love mini versions because I can test it out and see if I’d like to make the investment later on, since since the structure and craftsmanship is the same.
I hope you’re having a great week! Did you get any bags for Christmas?! I’d love to know which ones!

  1. Such a cute bag! There’s definitely a big difference between barely fitting your phone and fitting all the essentials!

Gorgeous bag! It’s funny you and your mom match..my mom and I are the same size and share everything! And I’m with ya on the mini bags. I was recently gifted the TB gold metallic “mini” robertson (obsessed btw) and it’s the perfect size for me.

  5. Such a cute bag! Occasionally my mom will buy us matching Lilly dresses (not to be worn matching, just because she likes the print) and we show up at the same place in them… Yikes! I guess there are worse things to become than our mothers, though 😉 Hope you’re enjoying Colorado!
