Spring Booties

In college Elaine Turner became one of my favorite girls. It was at that depressing point in life I had to:
A. Pay for my own wardrobe. Thanks internship checks.
B. Deal with the consequences of painful shoes.
I had left one too many date parties shoes in hand because I had 14 blisters the size of Texas on my feet. And I was tired of buying shoes I had to throw away because they put me in that embarrassing position…
I remember spending hours online stalking bloggers trying to find beautiful shoes that wouldn’t cause me to look absurd leaving formal. I stumbled upon Elaine Turner, asked my roommates which pair to treat myself to, and those shoes still sit in my closet for all my favorite occasions. Beautiful and no pain. Not sure how she does that, but it makes me feel #blessed. Needless to say, one too many pairs later, I still stalk her website daily.
Her new Marfa Line for spring is out annnnnd it is easily my favorite. Neutrals with snake touches. Match made in Kateyland. These Jordan Lizard Embossed Booties were so much fun to style. I paired them with white jeans and my new favorite turtleneck.  But I can’t stop picturing them with neon colored rompers and skirts for spring, too!
Versatility, wearability [aka no blisters] and eclectic touches are all thing that I think encompass your favorite shoe. Because I know that Elaine Turner does that [and because they are so amazing!] they are giving Chronicles of Frivolity readers 20% off so you can try the line, too! Just enter CHRONICLES20 at checkout.

If you are a Dallas girl like me, she has a store in Plano that opened this past November ant The Shops at Legacy! There is also a store at Southlake Town Square [which is one of my favorite areas!].

I think I will be pulling the trigger on this, so let me know if you get anything, too! 🙂
