Engagement Photos

Dresses: [c/o] Riffraff
We took our engagement photos a few weekends ago, and it was by far one of the most fun days of my life. We laughed, drank champagne, ate cotton candy and played with baby goats all day!
Our photographer was Carmen Evans and she is such an artist, and most importantly, amazing friend.  She encompassed all facets of our personalities as a couple and really allowed us to “hang out” while we shot.
While we were shooting she told us to just keep whispering to each other so she could catch us in moments and laughing. The first two hours Paul was being really sweet. He kept saying the usual things, “I can’t believe I get to marry you. You’re going to be the most amazing mom, yada yada.” Then I think he got a little delirious our 3rd hour into shooting [the yellow dress]. The entire time he kept whispering to me about this fear he has of corn dogs….
Seriously. Exactly why I’m cracking up in that one photo.
“Babe, I’m so scared of corn dogs.”

“Like the kind you microwave?”

“Yep. Terrified.”
He then blamed it on a coworker and said she said she was scared of corn dogs….but I don’t believe him. He’ll be getting a dozen in his stocking this year….
Both of my dresses are from Riffraff. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about when they will be in stock online, and I’m not 100% sure. You can always call either the Arkansas or Dallas location, because I know the Dallas store had some left! 🙂
My sequin skirt is incredibly old and so is the black top. I don’t even know where the pink earrings or black top are from. I think they were an H&M college run once. I compiled my accessories and similar pieces below for you! 🙂
