The Champagne Diet

Maybe I’ve had one too many Christmas cookies. Maybe it is the gloomy weather. Or maybe it is the fact I’m relying on bronzer to keep me looking “alive”. But somehow, every year, I feel a little dull at this point.
One of my friends, Cara, master life coach and creator of The Champagne Diet, is always posting amazing tips and little motivation shots on social media. I may not feel my best, but a quick scroll on her feed and I’m ready to take on the day.
As the year comes to an end and we set goals for 2015, we thought it would be fun if she shared a little post on feeling more glamorous. Whether you’re a tomboy or think you’re the second coming of Beyoncé, we can all agree that if you are pulled together you perform better.
Enjoy her post and let me know if you have any tips of your own for feeling your best!
How to Raise Your Glam Vibration
Cara Alwill Leyba
Master Life Coach + Author at www.TheChampagneDiet.com
As a Master Life Coach and Author, I work with women who are on a mission to improve themselves. Often times, women come to me after reading a laundry list of coma-inducing self-help books, desperate for a fresh perspective on how to live their best lives.
With New Year’s Eve around the corner, I really can’t think of a better time to talk about Glam Vibrations! They are one of my favorite ways to feel good and make epic things happen in your life. When we raise our glam vibration, we can approach life fearlessly and confidently.

I know you’re probably thinking; what the hell is this girl talking about? Allow me to explain:

A Glam Vibration™ occurs when you are operating on your most glamorous frequency.

In other words, when you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, everything is possible.
So how do we raise our Glam Vibration? I’ve got you covered, sister. Here are some tried and true tips you can put in to action at any time:

1.     Embrace the art of getting dolled up. It’s time to get out of the sweatpants and into the stilettos. I know, I know. You’re tired. You’re not feeling your best right now (one too many holidays parties have left you feeling bloated and exhausted). I get it. Believe me. But trust me on this one: when you dress up, you feel great. So this weekend, bust out your favorite red lipstick, or a great pair of heels, and rock them. Even if you’re just going grocery shopping.
2.     Get your workout on! Yep, you heard me. When we release endorphins, we feel amazing. Choose a workout that empowers you. For me, it’s Spin class. I get on that bike and I feel unstoppable. No matter what your workout of choice is, make sure it’s something that is going to be you feel beautiful, powerful, and invincible.
3.     Take yourself out on a date. Just like I mentioned in Tip #1, get dolled up, and make a reservation at your favorite restaurant and treat yourself to dinner. Or if you dread dining alone, sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of champagne. Or book a solo spa day. Hell, even relax on your couch with a good book and a cup of tea. Whatever makes you feel glamorous, go do it, and do it alone. Spending time connecting with yourself and celebrating all your accomplishments raises your glam vibration almost instantly. As DVF says, “When a woman becomes her own best friend, life is easier.”
No matter how you choose to raise your glam vibe, enjoy it. Remember: personal development should be empowering, glamorous and fun.
Cheers to a sparkling 2015!

  1. I love that comment by DVF – when a woman becomes her own best friend, life is easier. I am trying to repeat that mantra to myself right now after a tough breakup; I think it is *so* true and such a great affirmation! 🙂 Also, hell yes to treating yourself to a spa day and glomming it up. Maybe it’s vain, but when I think I look amazing, it really makes me feel that way too.
