If you squint and stare really intently, you’ll see there there are little rain drops on my outfit! [Hence my messy hair, too!]
Kelsey [The photographer AND one of my college girlfriends!] and I ran outside, realized it was raining, contemplated going back inside and I said, “Nope. These pants deserve a moment.”
Sometimes I can’t believe I talk like that in real life.
I’m always on the hunt for printed pants, but they are never comfortable. They are normally meant for a special occasion so the structure is more firm, and how am I supposed to watch Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill in firm pants?! Can’t be done.
I found these and they literally feel like pajamas. Silky, floral pajamas. I paired it with a fun cricket sweater to make the pants a little more “work/church” appropriate. However, if you are looking for a casual way to wear these just throw on a J.Crew painter tee!
If you are a little apprehensive about printed pants these are a great price point, so you won’t feel bad if you only save them for special occasions. BUT if you get anything from my blog, I want you to know you can rock these babies any time, any place! Your boss may disagree but tell them to e-mail me. I’ll set it straight. Don’t let a little rain stop you, you can rock prints. I pinky promise!

  1. Love those pants! I bought a pair of floral pants last summer from J.Crew and surprisingly wear them alllll the time! I totally agree with ya – it’s all about finding a pair in a comfortable fabric that don’t feel like they’re only for special occasions!

    Have a great week!
