Red intimidates me.
And not much intimidates me in the wardrobe department. I mean I’ll wear sequins on top of plaid and feel fine. But pour ketchup on me and I flip.
However, it is such a powerful color and each time I see a girl in red I think, “Hey girl, hey!”
I picked this shift dress up to ease into it, and surprisingly I have loved it! I just always try to pair neutral touches to cool it down. I’ve been adding a fur vest on top and tights and booties for church, or this look for a little Valentine’s date night. The v-neck structure slims you, but the dress remains loose enough to run errands.
If you want to add red into your wardrobe I think a shift dress is such an easy way to go. It might seem loud, but when you throw a sweater or jacket over to break it up it adds the perfect touch of femininity to your style.
Is there anything that intimidates you wardrobe wise?!
