Last year I had a massive crush on OTK boots. I’d never worn a pair before but after you consistently wear booties and riding boots faithfully for years, you gotta spice it up a little bit! #CanIGetanAmen?!
A few of my girlfriends have the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots and I went ahead and splurged as a “Merry Christmas to Katey” gift! They run true to size and stay up on your thigh because of the lace up detailing in the back! We even tested them in the snow and sludge during NYFW and they stayed perfect. If you have no clue what you want for Christmas and just want one big gift, I can’t say enough about these bad boys! They pair well with leggings or faux leather pants, but my favorite way to wear them is with something shorter and a faux fur vest! It gives it a ’70s vibe that isn’t expected! A little shift dress for church or shorts like I wore here for date night can be worn with these boots and surprisingly give you an illusion of longer legs. And WHO turns down legs like Carrie Underwood?! No one in their right mind that’s who! [If being vegan gives you that bod, bye bye Chick-Fil-A and sign me up twice!]
If you don’t want to splurge, there are so many similar options that pair well too BUT they sell out fast, like good men on the market. I’ll round up all my favorite dupes below! Or if you want to add even more leg to your look I love these Topshop OTK boots with a heel!
Here are my favorite similar dupes:
To finish this look I add in a faux fur vest since I typically wear something a little more thin underneath and want warmth and texture! I tested this one out from Chicwish a few weeks ago and y’all screenshotted me so many times! At first I thought I had a donut stuck in my teeth or something but then I got lots of e-mails about this vest so I’m going to assume this was what y’all were interested in! haha! It’s so soft and the striped detailing makes it look a heck of a lot more expensive than $42! But if you are more classic and don’t care for the stripe detailing they have this great option as well! Chicwish has so many well-priced fall and winter pieces for your wardrobe and below I’ll round up all their faux fur vests!
P.S. I found my Chloe Satchel online with an extremely reputable resale shop for only $850! You can get it here!
