Two weeks ago my parents came over for dinner and my mom and I proceeded to our usual habit of swapping jewelry. I’ll see a bracelet she has on and I give her my earrings and we will trade for a week, or forever! 😉

We went to start organizing my jewelry and clearing out heavy fall metal pieces, and I thought it would be fun to share my favorite summer jewelry! When it comes to summer I like less bracelets [sometimes!], delicate gold necklaces and statement missana earrings. I’m constantly wearing a ponytail or a bright pink lip, so I like to wear big earrings to draw attention. I also don’t want to feel weighed down with 14 bracelets daily or a heavy stack.

My other favorite part about these picks is how affordable they are! I love splurging on sentimental jewelry and watches, but statement earrings need to be wallet-friendly just like these Nicole Rose Jewelry latest pieces!

I wanted to also give you a little update on #projectguestbedroom! I ordered the last piece of art for the space and finished lots of detail pieces with the memorial day sales. I just need three more things for the room and once that all comes in we can shoot the reveal! We are also installing the chandelier next week! I never really understood the power of a good light fixture and thought it was something I could definitely forego. Once we installed the one in the dining area, I got hooked! I keep telling Paul that I want to replace all the ceiling fans and he thinks I have just about lost my mind and gently reminds  me that we live in Texas. Fans > beauty.
