Dress: Nordstrom | Booties: Nordstrom Rack | Hat: Similar | Necklace: Julie Vos [c/o] | Bag: Chloe, Dupe

This has been the best transitional dress for fall! It’s only $48 and so flattering on every girl. I only have black, but to accommodate the bump I honestly think I’m going to buy 2 or 3 more colors for the season!

Yellow Coat: J.Crew | Gray Coat: J.Crew | Black Coat: Burberry

I feel like I buy a few new coats each season but I have my favorites that I always go back to! Which is always fine because I like to donate a few coats each fall, but it just proves that sometimes the basics win. These are my three favorites I wear on repeat! The J.Crew options run a bit large. Online it says true to size, but J.Crew in general runs large so go down a size! The Burberry runs TTS

Sweater: FP | Jeans: Nordstrom | Booties: Jeffrey Campbell | Bag: YSL, Dupe

This sweater is in the shade: orange spice, and y’all I thought it said pumpkin spice and ordered it in 2 seconds. Mortified by my behavior, but it is okay because it came in and I love it! Just a warning, this runs extremely oversized! Go down a size or two! I am wearing a size S and it will work until I deliver. 🙂

Booties that go with everything AND they are under $90! Go down a half size in these!

Dress: Nordstrom | Jacket: Similar | Clutch: Sole Society [c/o]

This look will be on the blog on Friday but I had to share this snap of the clutch before then! This is such a good Christmas gift for a bestie as it is under $70 and the perfect dupe to the Clare V.! If you budgeted around $100 you could also throw in a few fun gift cards for her, as that is one of my favorite little packed presents to give!

Sweater: Nordstrom | Tee: Nordstrom | Jeans: Paige | Bag: Celine | Sunglasses: Le Specs | Watch: Kate Spade [c/o]

These are my favorite sunglasses I own! And I can’t tell you how many times I want to buy them in every shade. Maybe one of these nights during some pregnancy insomnia or something! haha. This look is perfect for running errands or if you are trying to chase around little kids!

Booties: Nordstrom Rack, Short-heeled version

I had these exact booties last season in a lighter shade and so this season I came back for seconds. For having a higher heel they are so incredibly comfortable and because they are from Nordstrom Rack they are 46% off!

Sweater: Barefoot Dreams | Necklace: Anthropologie | Laptop Cover: Etsy | Mug: ILY Couture

If you are a homebody and you have not heard of Barefoot Dreams, hold the phone while I introduce you to the love of your life. When I lived in Dallas all of my girlfriends swore by Barefoot Dreams blankets and said I had to get one! I kept thinking, “They are out of their mind if they think I’m spending more than the price of two Chipotle burrito bowls on a blanket.” Then I got pregnant and spent so much time in bed sick so I splurged on this cardigan. Now I’m seriously in a committed relationship. I even think I’m going to buy a new item every few weeks before baby arrives. You know, to help with all the cuddling the first 6 weeks! 😉 BUT in all seriousness, this is the most cozy thing to wear around the house and the perfect gift for the homebody girl. If you are getting your first apartment or love nights at home you have to treat yourself to either this cardigan or one of their blankets!

Shades L to R: Driftwood, Blankety, Kim K.W., Viva Glam Ariana Grande

I don’t retire my pinks for winter, but I do incorporate a lot more nudes. Another trick I have for wearing pink in the fall or winter is to mix it with a darker nude. I always mix a pink lipstick with this liquid lipstick in Child Star. Whenever I do this so many people ask what I’m wearing and I think it’s because they are so confused how it is a deep nude and yet has pink undertones! I think the most important thing about lipstick is to wear a color that makes you feel confident, so if that is nude, red or coral do it year round! Make it your staple! But you can easily mix colors and adjust that shade to fit the season or your look. If I’m not mixing a pink, the nude lipsticks I wear are linked above!

Dress: Anthropologie | Bag: YSL, Dupe | Bracelet: Bar, Hermes | Watch: Michael Kors | Shoes: Old, Similar

I wore this dress to meet Reese Witherspoon a few weeks ago! She opened a store in Dallas and there was a media event for bloggers and journalists to meet her. She is SUCH a doll. I was really nervous to meet her because after working in PR and doing a few media events with celebrities it’s always a let down. There is one girl that I LOVED. I mean absolutely loved. If you would have told me I could sell my left hand to meet her I would have without thinking twice [no shame]. Well the opportunity arose in Dallas for a media event with her and she came 3 hours late, unbelievably drunk and couldn’t even do her interviews. It was so sad. A healthy reminder to never idolize people, but sad nonetheless. Anyways, after that experience I always am very iffy about these media events. But considering the fact my 12th birthday was a sleepover in which we watched Legally Blonde, acted the movie out and my mom went on the wild side and let me put on drugstore press on nails so I could look like Elle Woods, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity. And She was just the sweetest person ever and I don’t even remember what I asked her. Something about her clothing line for children and having a daughter. I don’t know, I just know she was lovely and she glowed like an angel.fullsizerender_7

If you haven’t seen the bump yet, here she is! Week 22 to 23 gave the biggest difference and I am loving it. This dress is so flattering if you are pregnant and if you aren’t as well, which let’s be honest, that never happens or both scenarios! The ruching on the side made it a dress I loved before the bump and a dress I know I will love after!fullsizerender_8

Dress: Shopbop [runs small, go up a size!]

This was one of my favorite looks I wore at Fashion Week this past season! It’s so funny the dresses I thought would be my favorite were my least and the dresses I was iffy about [like this one] were the ones I adored the most. Goes to show nothing let’s you test a look better than trucking 18,000 steps a day in NYC.

Aw thank you!! It’s because they are a small mom & pop shop that builds everything themselves by hand so they aren’t manufactured anywhere else to make them less expensive! I’m sorry girl! xo
