Paul and I made the BIGGEST rookie mistake last night. So far, Maxi has had a relaxed schedule. For the most part we let her guide it and it falls in line with the moms on call schedule. She goes down at 8, normally wakes up at 8 and gets up at 3 and 5 to nurse. Some days she naps great, some days [like today] she naps for 45 minutes total. We really haven’t had to “wake a sleeping baby” because she isn’t a huge napper. However, last night she kept napping! She fell asleep at 5:30 and didn’t wake up until 9:30. I kept asking Paul if we should wake her up and he said, “No! Never wake a sleeping baby! How do we know she doesn’t need this sleep?” I just shrugged it off and thought, “My husband is probably right!” Well what happened to my sweet baby? She was up at 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7. So I just gave up, got up and decided to do another blog post of my Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale picks! haha! All of that to say, I’m going to do everything in my power to keep Maxi from not taking a ridiculous nap that close to bedtime and hopefully we all get some more sleep tonight. I also really wanted to focus on affordable clothing with this roundup! I do tend to get accessories during sales because a Tory Burch bag on sale is so tempting.
