Load Up Your Amazon Cart & Copy My Closet

Hi friends! How was your weekend?! You know when you start one project and it is as if you consumed 14 cups of coffee because you’re obsessed with doing every other project possible? That was me this weekend. Saturday morning I went to Maxi’s closet to sort her clothing and put away what was too small. I’m not sure what came over me, but something did because I can’t even wrap my head around the rest of what I accomplished. One thing led to another and I ended up with 4 trips to Good Will, a trip to the mall and the rest of the home organized. Why did I not rest, drink Diet Coke and sleep on a weekend with no plans?! Rookie mistake. I’m tired but I LOVE to start the week off with an organized home. I feel so much more ready to welcome whatever comes my way. I also tried to find some fun carpet options for my closet. It’s not really put together just yet but because it is a smaller space, so I thought, “Why not have fun with the carpet?!” Do y’all have any suggestions?! Feel free to let me know in the comments! I’m going to search a bit more on Pinterest today. Granted, I won’t do this for a few more months as I want to focus on finishing other spaces in the home, but a girl can dream!

Speaking of starting the week off on the right note, I also made this divine blueberry coffee cake. It’s such a nice summer treat during my quiet time in the mornings.

Another thing I did this weekend was my first try-on haul on Insta Stories. I love to watch them on stories because I feel like I can get a really accurate depiction of how something would look and how I could style it. This is going to sound so silly, but blog posts inspire me to be more purposeful in how I dress and Instagram photos just inspire my ruts when I walk in my closet and think I have nothing to wear. Does anyone else feel that way? However, I was irrationally adamant that I wouldn’t ever do a try-on haul. Since having Maxi, I’ve become so much more private on stories. I loved Snapchat and chatting on it, but with that kind of dying and Maxi getting older I just can’t ever really get comfortable on IG stories. Rambling aside, I had ordered some affordable pieces from Amazon and decided to just suck-it-up and try one out. It’s saved to my highlights under “Shop” on IG so check it out if you’d like to see. I really enjoyed it and hope it helps to show an accurate view of fit, which is a huge reason I wanted to do it. I find them to be so helpful!

Along with those pieces, I created an Amazon page you can shop, browse, or bookmark to your computer for future. This link here is where I’ll link my recent Amazon finds, things I share on Insta Stories or what I’m currently reading, and ordering. I thought I’d show some photos of products I’ve already photographed and that you can purchase via Amazon. Who doesn’t love Amazon?! I told y’all how my husband made a spreadsheet of my 2017 Amazon purchases under $20, right? It was bad….

Is this sponsored? If so it’s not disclosed which is very misleading.

Hi Sally! No, this is not sponsored that is why I did not disclose it. I genuinely just like that I could set up a page on Amazon for readers.

I love Amazon but I’ve never ordered clothes. Might need to try that. I’m so excited you posted a blueberry recipe because I just went blueberry picking with my daughters and wanted to find some ways to use them. My favorite way to eat them is straight off the bush though. So good!

Love these items!! Is this stuff you wear regularly while home with Maxi? I’m home with my 2 girls (2 and 1) and can’t bring myself to buy dresses because I can’t see myself hanging at home or running around the park in them. Haha!
