At the end of the year, I like to do a little COF girl review. I always say when you blog, you should be speaking to a girl. You may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you can aim to be the cup of tea one specific girl drives out of her way for! You want to know the products she wants to hear about, the routines that would help her, the recipes she will crave, all while being YOU- as blogs are about a person, not a brand. Or that’s just how I view it!

As I set to do my year-end review, I make a list of 10 things the “COF Girl” couldn’t get enough of in 2018. From my friend’s Mexican Casserole recipe to my leopard hide rug {p.s. that had to RIP thanks to Peaches. We cannot even speak of it.} I love making lists of what you all enjoy reading about!

One item that made the top 10?! Mama jewelry. More specifically, you like delicate jewelry that makes a nod to your roles in life.

You might have spotted this “Mama Love” necklace I’ve been sporting here and there. I purposefully tried to not wear it on stories too often {I’ve had it for about 3 months} as I always get nervous something could sell out when I share it, while I’m testing it before I blog. 😉

This pendant charm has mother-of-pearl and 18k gold with “Mama Love” cut into the front.  While we all know I preach about the second-skin necklace {delicate necklaces that you wear so often they feel like second skin}, I think this one is really unique. You’re getting the shape of a pendant which works beautifully with layering. I think if you ever want to layer gold necklaces, you’ve got to have a pendant in the mix! Then you’re getting the engraved aspect, with verbiage that makes a point to introduce yourself to the world, without having to speak. But, there’s an edgy factor to this style, too. There’s mother-of-pearl paired with a star and a heart, an unexpected, yet divine mix.

If you haven’t heard of TOUS, I’m thrilled to introduce you to the brand today. You’ll want them on your radar! TOUS has been in business for almost 100 years, making jewelry and accessories. Personally, one of my favorite aspects it the price range they offer for finer jewelry. You can find a gift under $100, but also find diamonds if you want to splurge. Each piece has incredible craftsmanship, with a playful flair.

I’ve had a pair of gold disc earrings on my list for quite some time- because some days pearls or diamond studs just don’t feel right! You want something casual with a nice balance of girly and classic. I ordered these earrings as engraving reminded me of a southern monogram!
