Try-On Haul Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! Today, I’m doing a little try-on haul Tuesday over on Instagram. When I share those outfit options, I like to have all the items sourced in one spot for you- so today’s blog post is just that! A lot of upcoming blog posts this week and next will be in regards to summer trips and vacation style, and this is no exception. From a $27 sundress to the best-fitting cut-off shorts, these are pieces I’ll be packing in my suitcase when we head to 30A next month!

Flamingo Dress | ShortsWedges

I actually purchased this flamingo print in a cover-up, and now have it in this little dress! I’m wearing mine as a longer top with the new Buddy Love denim shorts- which I’ll share more on below. You could also wear this little top with white denim and a high ponytail, so you can show off the bow straps.

Shorts | Pink Top | Wedges

Let’s talk about the new Buddy Love denim line! This was my first time trying it and I am beyond impressed. The shorts give the look of a cut-off short like with the brand One Teaspoon. But if you’ve ever tried those shorts you know just how short they are! Many say the trick with that line is to just size up, well you size up a few times and then they don’t even fit your jean size. I’m left with jeans that don’t fit in the waist and are still too short for my comfort. These are a true shorter style, but I’m comfortable in them and they fit TTS in the waist. I want to try their jeans next just based on how well these fit! This pink top from their line is one I bought at Hale House a month or so ago.

Duster | Skirt {I would size up!} | Similar Lace Cami | Gold Sandal

This is a look I would wear to dinner on the beach since you’re not taking up too much space in your suitcase. All of these pieces are items that individually I would wear with numerous other outfits on vacation. This light duster works over a swimsuit, denim shorts or even white jeans, a white cami is always necessary for layering, and a jean skirt can be dressed up or down. I would size up in the Buddy Love jean skirt, and you could wear it with sneakers and little graphic tees on vacation, too!

Dress | Wedges | Bag

This dress is what I was so excited to share for the haul, I photographed it for the blog below as well! It’s $27! I love a sundress with a great price point, but there’s always a few questions. Is it lined? Is it thin? Is the quality there? This dress is lined and has such a substantial quality, I could truly see this being at a boutique for at least six times the price. At least! The other great piece about this for vacation is it is 100% cotton, but has kind of a linen look to it, so if it got a little wrinkled and you forgot your steamer- it’s totally fine. It also comes in red and blue, too! I know it feels a little premature to buy your 4th of July look now, but for $27 get it and wear it ALL summer to get every use you can!

This dress fits TTS {wearing a S} and has a cinched elastic waist that you could even belt if you wanted to dress it up. I’ve styled it with both wedges and sandals and think the length allows you to go with either option. The dress I have on is the “black” shade, but I do know in these styled photos it is pulling more of a blue tone. The place we were shooting at has a blue awning, so I thik some color was reflecting in the lighting.

I’ve saved everything to my Amazon Shop Page here. Let me know which look is your favorite!

Love all these outfits!!! Cute but edgy!! Quick question: do the white wedges run true to size or shorter?? I sometimes wear a 6 and sometimes 6 1/2. Also, my parents are older than yours. My mom and dad both just can’t do everything they need to for their house so we prayed for God’s wisdom put our house for sale and it had a 3 couple bidding war in 24 hours. Well….. we moved and are SO glad we did. 🙂

Hi Amanda! I think the wedges run 100% true to size, so I would grab a 6! I’m the same with a 7 and a 7 worked perfectly for me! Oh my goodness, 3 bidding wars!! Wow! I am so glad it worked for you! Thank you for that encouragement! xx, Katey
