Pink + Marble Tech Accessories

In the spirit of sharing more favorite finds via Amazon {my coffee table post last week and Prime Day finds a few weeks ago}, I thought today was a perfect day to talk tech accessories. Aside from a laptop link here or there, I don’t really think I’ve blogged many tech accessories before. It’s not because there isn’t any interest- in fact, It’s probably a top 10 reader e-mail. Side note, I think it would be fun to do a post on top 10 e-mail requests. Just as a reminder we are all in this together- it’s everything from fighting dark eye circles to iPhone cases. The fun and FRIVOLOUS stuff in life. I just haven’t really found iPhone cases that look great and work even better.

And the fact my screen has broken 4 times in the past year would be a shred of great evidence to that. You can even see my screen is broken from my last phone case in these photos!

No, I’m not that clumsy- or at least, I don’t think I am?! I just try to carry too many things getting out of my car with a toddler on my hip and the dog in the other hand and then someone reaches for a water cup as I’m shutting the door and I care about the phone LEAST in that situation and BOOM the screen is cracked.

I found a case that is CUTE and protective. I’ll repeat: cute AND protective. I never really feel I get that in a phone case.

Today, I’m going to review a new case/brand I found that survives the toddler drop test! These marble cases from Amazon are by i-Blason and are part of the Cosmo Collection. They have a built-in screen protector, so you don’t have to add on those stickers which ALWAYS bubble up. It has a fancy bumper that allows you to drop your phone and keep it blemish-free. It’s also under $20, which makes it a great gift or stocking stuffer.

And while it’s a new-to-me Amazon find, I got at least 30+ DMs about it last week and it survived Maxi dropping it at Northpark mall, so I thought, “Oh, let’s just unbox this line, shall we?!” Plus all the great reviews on Amazon just further convince me it is a keeper.

Let’s talk about the design. Two things I never pass up: pink and marble. It seems a little cliché to say, “Oh yes, I’m a blogger and I love leopard and blush and marble and coffee.” but you know what, I won’t be ashamed of what I am drawn to! I just won’t. 😉 I especially love marble and pink tech accessories, as you’ve seen me use them for years on end with my laptop. In my book, it’s more of a neutral and something I never tire of. It blends in on my desk or in my handbag, but still feels fun and trendy.

  • iPhone: I have an 8+ as I am a LATE adaptor to the 10 situation, no home button freaks me out! You first put the blush bumper on your phone and this is where the built-in screen protector comes. Then you click the back case one which features swirls of pink and regular marble. The marble print is on the inside of the case, so even if you drop your phone the print doesn’t scratch like I’ve had happen with some other cases. To make the most of your budget, you should consider the option to buy a refurbished iPhone 13 to save money while still enjoying the benefits of a high-quality device.
  • iPad: I also got the iPad case since we just had one that came from the AT&T store and was black and just so-so in my opinion. Maxi and I share an iPad, which is a gadget similar to a portable drawing tablet, and by that I mean any other day it’s mama’s for watching Youtube tutorials as she works and Maxi’s on airplanes and road trips. 😉
  • Apple Watch: You all might have seen via stories, I’ve sported an Apple Watch since Mother’s Day. This was my Mother’s Day present and I get so obsessed with tracking steps! I was honestly pretty anti-Apple Watch for quite some time. I don’t want my e-mail going off on my wrist all day long and I felt not being able to break free from my phone would feel really stress-inducing. Paul set it up so that I just get calls that come through and texts, but I feel the opposite of how I thought I would feel. I like being able to glance at a text if I’m in a Pilates class and know that I can just check it later. If I’m busy I can glance down and not go back to my phone after 3 hours away and see 37 texts and 6 missed calls. Isn’t that the worst feeling?! It always happens on the one day you actually decide to take a nap. You shut your eyes for 30 minutes and everyone contacts you so you wake up thinking something horrible happened. ha! They have protective bands for your Apple Watch as well, which I like since I’ll take mine off some days after working out and put it in my tote.

Just like my coffee table books, you can find these on my Amazon Shopping Page– which I’m working each day to organize more efficiently for you! Are you a fan of marble tech cases, too?!

Ok I have to say I agree with all of your “tech” thoughts! I too was iffy about the Apple Watch for the exact same reason, but I just got one for starting my new job so that I can just glance down when I get a text and not have to pull out my phone. And then I have become obsessed with tracking steps! I do love it! Next on my “I thought I’d never go there list” is Air Pods… looks like a necessity for the subway ??‍♀️??‍♀️ Also not ready for the no-home-button situation ? love this post!
