Best Sellers Sale

The Details

In partnership with Colleen Rothschild. All opinions are my own!

When I took these photos, I had NO clue we’d be social distancing. I thought it was a funny play on the fact that as a mom the closest you sometimes get to a spa day is putting a mask on while you bathe your kid. I mean the steam from that opens your pores, right?! ha. In reality, this robe life situation is what the past 3 weeks and foreseeable future looks like.

As many of you have requested self-care posts during this time, I wanted to cover the Colleen Rothschild Best Sellers Sale going on right now. I’ve blogged and purchased CR products faithfully for many years, but I love that this sale breaks down the most popular ones that ALL users love.

What are the best sellers?

GLAD you asked. Let’s get to it!

While I haven’t purchased and tried all of her products, I thought it would be easiest to go over the FIVE best sellers I have purchased and repurchased over the years.

Cleansing Balm

Perhaps, the product CR is most known for is her cleansing balm. I always praise double cleansing, which is the process in which you take two different types of cleansers to wash your face in the evening. One cleanser {a cleansing balm} dissolves makeup and removes impurities. The balm melts into your skin, and the facial massage increases blood flow getting your skin ready to HEAL. You can find lots of blog posts on the cleansing balm on my blog, and here is one from years ago.

Intense Hydrating Mask

While I find it impossible to pick favorites, if I had to only use one CR product from here on out, it would probably be the Intense Hydrating Mask. This is a deeply hydrating mask that is made to increase hydration, elasticity, and radiance. You can leave it on for 15 minutes and then wipe off, but I actually leave it on overnight and then rinse off in the morning. I do this once a week, or I use it all day during my no-makeup days. Your skin is immediately supple and smooth after using this and people swear by it for travel in airplanes. This product would sell out constantly for a year or so, and now I always have 2 or 3 on backup and buy them during her sales like now.

Clarifying Detox Mask

This is actually the mask I use as an acne spot treatment overnight. You can read about Colleen’s masks here. With charcoal, clay, and silver, you get a triple threat to attach acne. The charcoal detoxes pores, the clay balances your complexion, and the pure micronized silver keeps bacteria at bay. I use this as a spot treatment and sleep in it, but you can also use it as your regular detox mask weekly. For me, the easiest way to use charcoal masks is to apply for 10-15 minutes, then hop in the shower. The steam will help remove, and you can rub it off in circular motions to deeply cleanse.

Retinol Supreme Night Oil

My most-read skincare post is my Retinol 101 post. It breaks down the what, how, and why of retinol products and which ones I recommend. If you are just starting to get into retinol, I do want to make note that you do not use it while pregnant or nursing. If you’ve never tried retinol products before, I HIGHLY recommend her Retinol Supreme Night Oil. Retinol is simply a form of Vitamin A that helps your skin renew and enhances collagen production. It’s known as the “must-have” anti-aging ingredient, but it also helps people with blemishes or uneven skin tone. You have to be careful with retinol because there are percentages and the more “yellow” the product, typically the stronger it is. You can end up with cracked and peeling skin, which no one wants. Colleen’s Retinol Supreme Night Oil is incredibly gentle while still being effective. With 9-plant based oils and Vitamin C, your skin is glowing, soothed, and SMOOTHER thanks to the retinol. When I am finished breastfeeding, this is the first retinol product I will use again. Shop the oil here.

Retinol Supreme Eye Serum

Piggybacking off the retinol post above, Colleen’s Retinol Supreme Eye Serum is another fan favorite. This product is actually clinically proven to increase moisture levels 6000% after 28 days of use. Is that not crazy?! When the eye area is moisturized, it looks less wrinkled and crepe-like, giving you a youthful, and bright-eyed look. This formula is gentle like her other retinol products, so I never experienced any irritation. My eye area is highly sensitive as I can get eczema patches there and sometimes even “natural” skincare brands give me rashes around my eyes. This product gives me no issues. I don’t use it currently while pregnant. Shop it here.

Note: If you are looking for another anti-aging product, a product that has been highly recommended to me in my e-mails is her Age Renewal Super Serum. I have personally not tried it, but I did want to mention it is quite popular in feedback e-mails!
