Favorite Jeans for Spring

Are you a straight leg or skinny jeans kind of girl? Light wash or dark and distressed? Maybe you love them all and if you need a case for adding different styles to your wardrobe, come sit next to me. 😉 Today on the blog, I’m breaking down five different denim styles for spring that will effortlessly pair with all your spring sweaters, tunics, and tees.

Now, I also know buying denim online can be a pain. For me, at least, it leads to confusion, returns, and wondering, “How is a size XYZ this way in this brand and the same size totally different in this brand?!” So for online order purposes here are some details that may help you decide if something runs TTS, or if you should size up or size down.

  • I’m 5’3″ and a 25 or 26 in denim.
  • I also will do a try-on haul on Instagram Stories with these in a fitted tee so you can see exactly where each pair of jeans hits.

White Jean

If you love a skinny jean….if you are petite and get sick of having to tailor…if you need a pair that tunics lay nicely over….go ahead and stop your search. The Margot by L’AGENCE is the pair for you. Now you may not want them in white, and that’s totally fine. They come in an array of other colors! I’ll link them below.

Sizing: I wear a 26 in them. They are pretty fitted with comfortable stretch.

Want a white jean that isn’t skinny? I ordered these from J.Crew {regular size, 25} as I have them in another wash, which you will see below!

Light Denim

No matter what Tik Tok says {truth be told, I am not on Tik Tok, so I don’t know what they say lol}, I think a skinny jean is still very practical for your wardrobe. I may not wear a super dark wash that is distressed in the spring, but a skinny jean in a light wash is great for all your flowy tops so that they have a plain canvas to make a statement.

I love the Rocket Crop denim by Citizens of Humanity. My exact pair is older from a boutique, but I’ll link the style below.

Sizing: If in between sizes, I would size up. I take a 26 in this style. This is a cropped style, but for those taller, I will link the Rocket denim {not cropped} as the last style below.

Relaxed Straight Leg Jean

If you work from home all day and need a comfortable pair of denim, look no further. These are like wearing joggers, they are so easy. But they don’t feel like a stretched-out jegging by any means, they are structured and not a stretch denim.

Sizing: Like most relaxed or boyfriend jeans, you want to size down. I’m wearing a 25.

Cropped Jeans

You know how they say there are t-shirt bras that are perfect for everyday with your tees? I would call this t-shirt denim. They are the perfect pair of jeans to tuck your tees in. They are soft {but don’t stretch out!} and are fabulous for working from home as well. I love the 4-button detail as I think it gives it something more unique.

Sizing: Grab your regular size, I took a 25.

Crop Frayed Jean

Y’all have sold these jeans out not once, but twice! And now they are available on preorder here. These are such a wild card option if you want a pair of sassy jeans to step outside your comfort zone. Most of the jean fits like a skinny jean, but then there is a frayed and flared crop at the end.

Sizing: These have major stretch, so size down! I’m wearing a 24.

Which are your favorites?!
