Not everyone likes “arm candy” and not everyone prefers statement necklaces. We all have our own taste in jewelry [I think mine would be the flavor “everything”] and so I thought it would be fun to feature one look with different types of layered jewels!
Sherrod Sisters is the cutest line of handmade jewels. And the girls are so gorgeous! I creeped for an hour. No shame. None. Whatsoever. I first stumbled upon them with their bracelets [helllllo!] and was so impressed with the variety of styles. These pieces compliment everyone from your sorority sister to your mom’s best friend.
My personal favorite is the horn necklace layered with the bar pendant. I think it makes a statement over a cable knit sweater [which can be difficult to do] or allows you to feel like you crashed the set of a Free People shoot in the summer. Versatility is key in your jewelry box, because unlike pieces of clothing that may not last forever, gems should.
I paired my all black look with this vest from Riffraff. It’s SO soft! Granted, I clearly should have had a lint roller on hand [a cat crashed our shoot. It was interesting to say the least. It was in love with me and the feelings were not mutual. #allergic]
Sherrod Sisters are so sweet they wanted to do a giveaway for my readers, too! If you head to my instagram you can enter to win!
I hope you have a great week and thank you for reading!
