Fall Haul Round Two

Skirt {xs} | Sweater {xs} | Booties

Today, we’ve got another fall haul! With Target pieces, holiday dresses, and a live-in sweatshirt it is quite the mix of new arrivals to my closet. But let’s first start with this monochromatic look from Target! It comes in olive and camel, but I went with the olive for fall. I’ve seen a few of these sweater skirt styles, but they were retailing for around $100 and I just wasn’t sure how often I’d wear it. I picked this one up at Target and I can confirm that I will be wearing this every Sunday to church this fall. ha! It’s so comfortable, but what I really love is that it makes you feel pulled together as a monochromatic look does. You can leave the sweater untucked, but I did a simple front tuck with some pointed-toe booties. However, this outfit also could be styled with Golden Goose sneakers or your favorite edgy pair. I’m also wearing this exact look today for errands and getting work done while Maxi is at MDO.

Cardigan {size small} | Jeans | Shoes {size up half size}

Piggybacking off the Target haul, this sweater was a Target find as well. Cardigans fully buttoned over jeans are going to be in this season, but instead of something we wore in 2004, this trend if flirting with the power sleeve. The puff statement feels edgy and girly all at the same time. I styled it over distressed jeans and pink mules.

Sweater {size small, runs tight in arms} | Jeans | Shoes {size up half size}

The last Target piece in this haul is this sweater. If you love to wear winter white jeans, this is the perfect sweater to do so with. It’s a light-weight crewneck so if you are someone that likes to tuck their sweaters into their denim you can easily do that with this style of pullover. Can you spot a ballerina in the background?! 😉

Top {xs, c/o} | Skirt {xs, c/o}

I know it seems early for holiday dresses, but just think in a month we’ll start attending parties. My friend Cassie just launched her holiday collection with Gibson today and if you love sparkle or plaid, you are sure to love this. A quick note on fit, I think Gibson runs a bit large. If you are in between sizes or unsure, I’d size down. I wear an XS in Gibson. This top and skirt come in multiple colors and would be PERFECT for your Christmas Card photoshoot! My favorite thing about this top is how it reminds me of a bodysuit by being such an easy-to-layer piece, but you aren’t dealing with a bodysuit. If wearing an adult leotard intimidates you {it shouldn’t- but I totally get that} this top comes in gold sequin, black sequin, black, and red velvet.

Dress {xs, c/o}

This dress is definitely my favorite piece from the collection. I go to the Nutcracker with my girlfriends each Christmas season and this is the perfect piece to wear to it. The cap sleeve, the bow detail, it all feels so feminine and Mad Men-esque!

Sweatshirt | Biker Shorts

But since we only go to holiday parties every so often, let me share what I’ve been living in these past few weeks. I swore I wouldn’t fall to the biker short trend, and then I tried them in Santa Barbara and they are my go-to for lounging around the house or going to the park. This sweatshirt feels super soft with a vintage wash and I’m wearing it in a size small.

Top {xs, c/o} | Skirt {xs, c/o}

Lastly, this is from the same pieces as the plaid skirt and sequin top above but in the different colorway provided. If you loved the dress, but wouldn’t wear it as often, try it in the skirt. The most versatile piece you would wear in your closet from this collection is this top in black! Tuck it in jeans, work pants, or pencil skirts.

I’ll also be doing a try-on haul with these items on Insta Stories today if a video helps you get an idea of the clothing better. Which option is your favorite?!

    In the past you’ve posted family outfit combos for pictures. Do you think you’ll be doing that again? Trying to plan for my husband, daughter and I and I’m horrible at coordinating everything.
