One of my favorite things in the whole entire world is being able to transition clothes throughout season. It’s like a fun little surprise when you can mix and match pieces in your closet to create more than one outfit with completely different vibes. Also when you’re a broke college kid (or as-of-now unemployed graduate… cough) it’s nice not to have to sacrifice a week of dinner because you spent all your money on a new Spring wardrobe.
My number one go to for Spring/Summer are white shorts. Um hi you can wear them with literally anything. So versatile. Even if I leave the house wearing an outfit completely made up of fall colors, as long as I pair it with the right shorts I don’t look like a complete out-of-season mess. See it doesn’t even look weird that I’m wearing deep red, burnt orange, and gold in the middle of May. Right? Validate me.
If y’all haven’t noticed yet from the abundance of blog posts in which I’ve mentioned the topic, I’m very particular about dressing seasonally. My number one pet peeve is when I go out during the winter and see girls wearing tank tops. Like I get that you’re trying to show some skin, but can you please just put a jacket on? It’s making me cold to look at you.
Likewise I hate looking at someone and knowing they’re burning up in the Texas heat because they’re inappropriately dressed for summer. Enter white shorts. Automatic plus: if you have any kind of tan they’ll make your legs look so hawt. So please take my advice and go buy some ASAP.
I even went and found you a bunch of different ways to rock white shorts for you. How sweet of me.
