I survived my first week wedding planning! Trying to plan a wedding in 7 months, running a business, working on fashion week [it is next week! agh!], three bible studies and attempting to be normal and do things like eat, has proven to be exhausting. But it is the happiest exhausted I have ever experienced in my entire life and I have loved every minute.
Surprisingly I don’t even think I’m that detailed about the wedding. We just want to get married and whether we have gold flatware or silver, we just get to be together and that’s all I care about! However, everyone just asks you so many questions. haha. I had no idea that Paul and I had to make so many decisions. Thankfully, that is where my mom comes in!
I’ll be writing a post pretty soon about our engagement [I just want to see how much Paul wants me to share! :)] and what we are doing for the wedding. Because I definitely do not want to bore you all with the details on my outfit posts if you don’t want to hear. haha.
Needless to say, this week my outfits have been so laid back and I have loved them. I’ve tried to keep oversized sweaters together by pairing them with little white jeans. These are a saving grace if you are sick of black and need something a tad bit more chic than denim. I’ve worn them to all my meetings and it makes more of a statement than your standard jean. The Accessory Concierge spring line is out and this shark tooth necklace is my favorite piece from the collection! One of spring’s it trends is long layers necklaces and the “new bohemian.” Everything is about being a “jet-set gypsy.” The new bohemian isn’t about grunge or a Coachella-esque look, it’s about mixing bright colors, loose layers and piling on the jewels. The great thing about the Accessory Concierge spring line is the fact that it encompasses the girly girl and the free spirit. Think Barbie and Free People had a baby. Stocking up on the pink pieces is perfect for Valentine’s Day, too! Their pricing is really affordable [hint hint, boyfriends!] so you can stock up for all your loved ones.
I’ll be sharing more of their spring line as I transition my wardrobe and I can’t wait! These pieces scream #takemetothebeach and I think you all will love them!
