This post has been a long time coming so I’m thrilled it is live today! Back during the holidays, I was talking to the TULA team about some upcoming sales. We started tossing ideas back and forth and we mentioned an event, but something completely different than I’d ever done before.

Back before I was married I did a dinner with COF readers at a restaurant in Fort Worth. To this day, it is still one of my favorite memories from blogging. I follow the girls I met on Instagram and it’s been so fun to watch us all grow in this little community we have made online. I wanted to do something like that again, just in a different capacity.

What do girls want to do when we get together? Brunch.

May 6th come brunch with us! We are doing a girls’ day and feel free to BYOB [bring your own baby 😉 ] as Maxi girl will be there! Bring your sister or your mom, bring whichever girlfriend you’d like. This is an event to celebrate women and mothers because one day [Mother’s Day] just isn’t enough.

We’ll be doing brunch at my go-to spot, Bistro 31, in Highland Park Village from 11-2. We’ll enjoy a meal, you’ll get 3 FULL-SIZE TULA products, and we’ll be chatting about everything from the importance of girlfriends to balancing it all.

This brunch will be a little different in the sense that it will be a guided conversation. I’ll ask some questions and we’ll go around sharing as a way to uplift and empower one another through vulnerability and encouragement.

Whether you are busy with school, balancing planning a wedding with work, pregnant, a mother or in the thick of it with your career- we want you to leave feeling fulfilled and recharged. I think girl time is a major part of self-care and a key component we can’t neglect. Self-care is far more than moisturizers and face masks and bubble baths. Those things are fun and frivolous and can be the little “happies” in life, but community is far deeper. I’ve always wanted my blog to feel like a best friend through a website, so now we get a fun opportunity to do what best friends do- brunch.

This will be a very relaxed and warm event, I mean I’ll have my baby with me. She’ll be tossing puffs on the floor the entire event and smearing jam on me and playing with things she shouldn’t. However, I wanted it to be that way. So many times I feel guilty having events and having Maxi be with Paul, so I told TULA I didn’t want other moms to feel the same pressure.

Tickets are for sale here and I wanted to include that this is a smaller event. I chose for it to be pretty intimate so we can have great conversation and really get to know one another. Due to limited seating, there are limited tickets.

[This covers the cost of brunch and product, so you don’t have to worry about the bill if you have to scoot out early!]

You all know I’ve loved TULA since I first started using it prepping for my wedding. If you are out-of-town and can’t make it, we will miss you!

If TULA is new to you, feel free to peruse some of my past posts.

You also can get a discount on your online order with the code “Katey” at checkout.

This event means the world to me as I feel it really exemplifies everything I’ve set out to do with COF. I hope to see you there, meeting you all is the greatest honor in blogging! See more information here.
