Are you a boots or booties kind of gal?! I am 100% a girl that would rather buy a cute pair of booties! They fit transitional dressing, they can be worn almost year-round, and they work for those southern falls where you are trying to look seasonally-appropriate in 84 degrees. I wanted to share this look above to prove you can still dress for fall, even in warmer temps. Just add a darker dress and throw on some booties and you are good-to-go, girlfriend!

What are your plans for this week?! I am spending an hour this evening {Sunday} working on my schedule for the week and it feels nice to finally feel well enough to be out and about. I’m still in quite a bit of pain from my surgery, but I’m able to go about my day, which is a lot more than I could say for last week. Thank goodness for that! I’m going to a fun Refinery 29 event tomorrow night with my girlfriend, Kristin {the one I started COF with!}. She got me hooked on their Money Diaries column after she got featured and now I’m just an absolute nut that sits and reads these for hours. I’m so nosey and some are fascinating. It’s like seeing what is in someone’s purse…but better?! ha. Anyways, they are having a book tour for their new Money Diaries book, and we thought that was the perfect excuse for girls’ night. I’m also excited for Christmas in Cowtown with my mom towards the end of the week. This is a tradition we have together and it always kicks off the fall season for us. It’s a gift market in Fort Worth and while it’s so large and a little overwhelming, it’s just a blast with your mom!

I love the booties you’re wearing, Katey! I’ve never tried wearing white boots before but I really like how you’ve matched them with your gorgeous bag (so jealous, I want it for myself!). My plans for this week basically includes working, working and working. It’s a busy week at my job for me! 🙂
