Jackets I’ve Been Wearing

The Details

Lately, I’ve gotten a little sassy with my jackets. From pink and coral faux fur to a star-studded moto jacket, I love throwing them on over outfits because they have become the easiest way to make my look unique. I can throw up a ponytail with simple denim and a tucked in tee and allow my jacket to do the talking. I don’t have to spend 10 minutes in my closet getting creative, because I don’t want to overpower my outerwear.

Today, I’m reviewing the three jackets you’ve seen me wearing as of late. It may seem a little poor timed as we are headed into March, but jackets last for years in your closet as you aren’t as hard on them as say a pair of flip flops in the summer. You take them off when you get to where you are going, so they have the opportunity to last longer. Buy now, wear later, and later, and later, and later.

If it’s pink and cozy, go ahead and put it in my cart. I had an Amazon gift card to buy this, but it sold out on Amazon. 🙁 This jacket has been perfect this week in our frigid temperatures and plays just as nice with jeans and a sweater as it does with leggings and workout clothes. My sister’s friend has this jacket and I had been eyeballing it all winter, so even though I’ll just wear this a few more weeks I am thrilled.

If you like to dress by my motto of one part girly, one part edgy this jacket meets the criteria! The style in and of itself isn’t ultra feminine, but the blush faux fur is the softest touch.

This is my wild card jacket that even I can’t believe I have fallen so hard for. I was tired of parkas and just wanted something that felt pretty darn fabulous. It’s a beautiful coral color and in some blog photos just due to editing it looks very orange, but it’s definitely more true to the photo of me and Maxi above.

The softness is unreal and it pairs as easily with jeans and a sweater as it does a little black dress. I didn’t have a coat that I constantly grabbed for dressier occasions, so this is what I have used for that this winter! To see this jacket styled, here are some other photos.

This is the jacket y’all have definitely asked about the most and I wanted to feature this one prominently in the post because you can carry this into spring! While I wouldn’t say you’d wear this at night in the summer {unless you live in the Bay Area or somewhere more chilly!} the white stars allow this moto jacket to be a great addition into March! A leather moto jacket is a wardrobe staple but adding statement stars makes it look like you bought it on a shopping trip with your girlfriends, as opposed to Amazon Prime. 😉

For spring, I’d wear this jacket with my go-to cotton dress and your favorite white sneakers to coincide with the white stars. You can see the dress styled here!

Overall, I’d call this my vacation jacket. You know how you always want one jacket to take on vacation that will work for a brisk morning, a chilly theater, and go with just about everything you have in your suitcase? This works for that. Treat the stars like a neutral as you do with leopard and you’ll be shocked at how much use you get out of it.

I hope this is helpful for those of you with an eye for sassy jackets! Let me know which one is your favorite!
