Raise your hand if you can’t make it to a spa frequently!

Oh good, that makes…well, probably most of us! Whether you’re busy traveling with your career, studying in the library, or caring for little ones, spa treatments most likely get the backburner. And hey- it makes them more special that way! I get quite excited about a massage on vacation from specialists like 수원출장마사지, and there are many great options like massage in Manhattan so you can enjoy with a partner or by yourself. Plus, let’s just state the obvious…they aren’t inexpensive. My Chick-Fil-A habit is easier on the wallet if you know what I mean.

Today, I’m partnering with Dr. Brandt to discuss 3 products I think every girl should try if she can’t make it to a spa frequently. I got the pick the products and give you my little tricks as this is a brand I have been purchasing for years- have you tried the exfoliator?! Incredible. I mean remember my sticker shock last year at the price of microneedling and lasers?! One of these products combats that!

1. Hyaluronic Facial Cream

You see the commercials. You’ve heard the funny name. Even my makeup class I took last week discussed the importance of hyaluronic acid for a SOLID 15 minutes. Why is this liquid gold for the face?

Hyaluronic acid plumps and hydrates skin by taking in moisture from the environment. It’s a humectant, meaning it absorbs water about 1,000 times its weight. The absorption of water helps plump your skin. It also assists in repairing skin that has been irritated by anything from stress to dryness. It’s also good for ALL skin types- in fact, really dry skin or acne-prone skin will both see immediate benefits. The even cooler part? It’s an ingredient in skincare that only takes minutes to see results. MINUTES. Most products you are going to incorporate take a minimum of 3 weeks, and that’s like Vitamin C which makes you glow quickly.

So, now you may be nodding saying, “Yes, this is a great ingredient. But why THIS cream?

This daily facial cream is powered by HA4 Complex, which is a blend of FOUR hyaluronic acids and FIVE peptides for instant hydration and plumping effects. They also incorporated patented volume-restoring spheres which provide instant and visible results in a gel-cream texture.

AKA- you’re basically getting 9 powerhouse ingredients in one moisturizer that leaves your skin looking soft and supple- the look you get when you get a hydrafacial.

I absolutely love that glow and fullness my face has when I get a hydrafacial, but I’ve had, well, 2- because #Maxi. ha. I’ve been using this as my morning moisturizer for close to 2 months now and the gel makes it the perfect primer to makeup. It dries to a velvet-like finish so your foundation blends evenly. Makeup goes on smooth and my skin looks like I’ve just drank a gallon of water!

The moisturizer is fragrance-free and the consistency is a medium weight, which I love. It also helps your skin to generate its own natural hyaluronic acid, meaning the more you use this product the less dependent your skin becomes on additional products.

2. needles no more 3-D Lip PLUMPFIX

We’ve acknowledged we want to incorporate hyaluronic acid in your skin, so what about your lips? You know when you get facials and they have the little “add-on” card where you can add treatments like seaweed eye masks and lip treatments. Well, I never add the lip treatments because they are like $35 but I’m always curious.

Think about it, we are HARD on our lips. We drink, eat, apply drying lipstick 24/7, chat, etc. all day long. No wonder our lips lose fullness and get chapped easily.

Dr. Brandt also has a lip plumping primer which hyaluronic filling spheres and peptides which helps improve natural lip volume. The plumping primer also has a self-tissue regenerator to help retexturize giving you more lip thickness and smooths out vertical lines- which is something we all combat with liquid lipstick! This product is also made with another end that is a nourishing lip conditioner.

I’ve shared this product on stories before, but let me give you the details:

  1. You apply this before your lipstick. I do the plumping side in the morning and the conditioning side in the evening. This dries to a matte effect so it will NOT counteract with your lipstick. I hate when really oily lip products break down the pigmentation and texture of your lipstick.
  2. You will feel a *slight* tingle. Just SLIGHT. If you weren’t thinking about it, you’d barely notice. I hate lip plumping glosses that feel like you just stuck your mouth in a ghost pepper jar. No thanks.
  3. Once you apply your lipstick, you’ll notice a natural fullness start to appear. You know lip plumping glosses that tingle so badly they make your skin red and inflamed? This doesn’t do that. So if you aren’t a lipstick girl, you can wear this alone! Sometimes I just dab this in the middle of my lipstick throughout the day if I want to make my lips look a bit fuller.
  4. Over time, this helps minimize lines and wrinkles and improves lip definition.

So no added lip treatment at the spa for you my dear!

3. needles no more Wrinkle Smoothing Cream

This is truly one of the fastest acting skincare products I have ever tried- so much, in fact, I’m on my third purchased bottle. I had girlfriends over last night and every 7-8 months or so, I have them over to help dress up their skincare routines. I’ll go through what I’ve been using lately, help them tweak their routines, and give them things that didn’t work for me if I think it will help them. This was a product I was showing them and they all wanted to try it!

This is a topical cream {think like an acne spot treatment but for wrinkles} that gives short and long-term effects on the upper half of the face, specifically designed for expression lines on the forehead and in between brows and crow’s feet. But, I ALSO use this for fine lines around the mouth! I see results there as well.

When beauty editors at VOGUE tested it they said their skin was automatically tighter in one minute and wrinkles were smoothed in an hour. It’s like a magic eraser for fine lines before you apply your makeup.

If you haven’t bit the bullet on at-home microneedling or microneedling at the spa, this is a fabulous option to incorporate in your skincare routine. It’s paraben, sulfate, and phthalate free, and can be applied on your crow’s feet as well close to the eyes. You incorporate this morning and night. In the morning, you can apply before your moisturizer and sunscreen. In the evening, I apply it after serums. I think of this just like an acne-spot treatment but for fine lines.

I know I have makeup on in these photos {I was ready for the day with Maxi!} but this patting motion of my middle finger shows how I *press* the wrinkle cream into the fine lines. I don’t apply this all over the face! Just dot it on fine lines and press in.

So whether you love the spa, abhor the spa, or simply don’t think you’ll have a spa day until 2027 with your kids and schedule, try one of these! Because you can and deserve to get plump skin without booking a facial. But if you so wish to book a facial and you need someone to go with you, I mean, I won’t say no! 😉

If you try these at home remember this little routine:

Wash, Tone {Essence if you like}, Eye Cream, Serum, Wrinkle Treatment, Hyaluronic Moisturizer, Sunscreen, Makeup, Lip Plumper, Lipstick!

Try this routine so you can have more of THIS routine below! I’ll have at-home spa days with my girl all day long!

Hi Anna! Hyaluronic Acid is safe to use during pregnancy as it is naturally found in our bodies. But I would ask your doctor to be clear especially on wrinkle smoothing cream! xo, Katey
