Weekend Outfits

Popping in today for a super casual outfit post! I was answering some DM’s last night and had a lot of questions regarding what I had worn over the weekend, so I thought I’d share those links. 🙂

This past weekend was so much fun as it was all family and girl time- my favorite things.

My weekend kind of kicked off on Thursday, when I had an event at Hale House, one of my go-to boutiques in Fort Worth. My girlfriend, Bekah, owns Hale House and she is one of the sweetest {and most hilarious!} people you’ll ever meet. We had talked a few months prior about doing an event together at her store and on Thursday we had that. We had a trunk show with the brand, Buddy Love. I LOVED having a Fort Worth event since y’all know most of my events are in Dallas even though I’m a Fort Worth girl. With it being local, my mom and her girlfriends got to come which meant so much. We all grabbed dinner after and caught up. I think one of my favorite gifts my mom ever gave me was the community of women she has as friends. They are all like aunts to me and are so supportive of me. Sunday night I was cooking one of my mom’s recipes, my mom didn’t answer when I called to ask a question on an ingredient, so I just called one of her girlfriends for the answer. We are all really close and I’m so grateful to my mom for really investing in her community because naturally, it has become mine. I know that sounds ultra cheesy, but having an event in FW really reminded me how important my friendships are to not only me as a woman, but for me as a mother, because they will impact my daughter one day.

I did a little try-on haul with what I purchased at the event and here are the links:

Pineapple top {wearing size S} | Earrings are Hale House, Bangles are Hale House {DM to order}

Pineapple Top {wearing s}

I didn’t buy this, but if you are going on your honeymoon this summer, they have some of the cutest and flirtiest swimsuits that I think are a must!

Friday night, I had a girls’ night in Dallas, while Paul had daddy/daughter time with Maxi. One of my girlfriends, Julia, just moved back to Dallas. She’s a fabulous Youtuber {go watch her!} and works for Sephora corporate, as well. Coolest job, no?! So we got to tag along while she filmed some footage for her job and we got to see the new neighborhood Sephora they set up. Before the Sephora class we took {free to VIB members!} we took a class at Pure Barre and then a mini class at Sur la Table.

My Dress {so flattering! wearing size s}

On Saturday, we took Maxi to Barnes & Noble which has been one of our favorite things to do lately. She pulls out all the books she wants to read and then we spend about an hour reading them and playing with the trains. She came home with a book on puppies and was *obsessed* with the page on Golden Retrievers. Peaches was jealous. 😉

My favorite part of the weekend was after Barnes & Noble, I took a nap with her in her rocker. That hasn’t happened since she was around 4 or 5 months, so it definitely brought me so much joy. I could snuggle that girl forever.

Sorry for all the iPhone photos, just wanted to give you a quick update on outfits. I hope this was helpful for those asking. Have a fabulous rest of your day!

P.S. In case you forget about one of the tops from the boutique, I added them to my Amazon page!

    I LOVE all the photos, …they’re so colorful and pretty! I really enjoy the maxi pics and videos too! But, I think one day , your daughter will look at all these photos of her mom and see this blog…and be so proud of you , and think…”wow! Look what my mom did! Look how beautiful she is. She’s so cool!” And it will be a source of pride for her to show her friends…(I know I’ve showed off to my friends about my parents before!)

    Love your humble , sweet posts!!
