Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Day 2

The Details

My Top | photography by: Madison Katlin

Happy Tuesday, friends! As promised, we are back with more arrivals to the Lilly After Party Sale today. But I wanted to share some photos of us at home last week! My friend Madison came over and Maxi is obsessed with her. Madison is a photographer, so it’s always fun because she’ll play with Maxi and while doing so, somehow she gets the most incredible shots. I worked on organizing more family photos this past Sunday during the Golden Globes {which btw seemed a little boring to me, did they to you?!} and it just made me grateful she always catches these fleeting moments.

The Little Tikes car was one of Maxi’s gifts for Christmas and she’s as obsessed as a 16-year-old with a fresh license.  I joke she pulls up to the mommy drive-in and orders her milk! I also made her an art cart for Christmas and it has solved our problem of crayons EVERYWHERE. It keeps here really entertained and we photographed that last week, as well, so I’ll share how I made it very soon on COF. It was a really fun project to have, a good amount of DIY, but still unbelievably easy to put together. I applaud Pinterest Queens, but I am not one. I’ll start something and 5 minutes in think, “Okay….this is making a mess. Can I take a break now?!

Lilly dropped new arrivals to their After Party Sale which ends tonight at 11:59! Yesterday, I got shorts, dresses, and little shift dresses for Maxi like the one she is wearing above. She is currently a 2T in Lilly, but I went ahead and ordered her a 3 since Texas allows us to get away with wearing Lilly practically all year. 😉 On that note, today, I wanted to share some new sale arrivals that you can wear in the fall, winter, or early spring- of course, dependent on where you live.

one | two | three | four

1. Harp Cashmere Wrap — Originally $198 — On sale $99

This is an item that already resides in my closet and I love it for 2 reasons! One, I would use it to nurse Maxi 24/7 when she was little! I wore it on a plane and then took it to the Broadmoor when we vacationed there. I totally realize that maybe only 3% of you are making purchases based on nursing, but for those 3%- I GOT YOU! Nursing functionality or not {ha!} this is a wrap that truly feels feminine. You know how some wraps or poncho-type tops feel so large? They work well in the winter, but not so much spring. This has a much more delicate cut and draping to it, so you still feel dressed up wearing this over jeans. It’s definitely a must-have item for traveling in my book.

2. Marette Cashmere Cardigan — Originally $248 — On Sale $99

This light cashmere cardigan is great for more formal events. What I love about a Lilly cardigan is that I can always bring it to a wedding if it gets chillier later on in the evening and it doesn’t look too informal against my dress! If you’re into a capsule wardrobe, a cashmere cardigan with this cut can cover a multitude of outfits you’d wear. From something weekend ready as pictured in the website’s photo to being thrown on over a work dress, you’d get plenty of wear out of it.

3. Norwood Cashmere Cardigan — Originally $278 — On Sale $99

If you work in a chillier office, this is my pick for you! I own this and got it in a size S. It has a very faint hint of gold thread throughout the cardigan so that it feels more dressy than just a casual piece you throw over leggings. It’s one of those cozy cashmere pieces that looks far more expensive than $99. I’ll pair it with jeans, a simple white tee, and white sneakers for a casual look going into spring!

4. UPF 50+ Skipper Printed Popover — Originally $98 — On Sale $54

I have this as well and it runs large! I got an XS, so make note of sizing. It’s perfect for shorts in the summer, but I think I’ll wear it with leggings and sneakers when I want to wear workout clothes but feel a little brighter. 😉 I always feel like my workout looks are black or grey and a pop of pink seems a bit more me!

See my post from yesterday here for more details on the sale.

We are booking our trip to Seaside for this year, so I can’t wait to get back to my favorite beach and be wearing this Lilly with my Maxi girl!

Talk to y’all tomorrow!
