Work to Weekend Look

First and foremost, a huge thank you to you all for sharing with me what you do in this post! I sat there reading about your careers blown away that you read my blog. I kept thinking, “I’m a girl that likes to make a casserole and blog a skin cream and THESE amazing {not to mention busy} women read my blog.” It means more than you know. From casual offices to corporate, I’m excited to start incorporating some more pieces you can use in your wardrobe all week long. And while your dress codes all range, one consistent factor I kept seeing was the need for neutrals you can wear to the office and on the weekend.

I think a true sign of loving your wardrobe is extending it past the parameters you put on it. Wearing a church dress to the grocery store with sneakers, a work blazer to brunch, or a pencil skirt to a girls’ night out shows that your pieces fully serve you in their versatility.

Today, I want to talk about two neutrals for fall that I think you can style far past your Monday-morning meeting. This beige check blazer is a bit oversized and can be gorgeous at the office paired with these pants from J.Crew and a more fitted black blouse that is tucked in. On the weekend, throw it over high-waisted jeans and your favorite lived-in tee. Want to try it for date night? Throw it over this lace camisole {I would size up}. What about running errands? Throw this blazer over my favorite cotton dress {size up and see me style it here} and sneakers. Treat it like a jean jacket on the weekend and the gorgeous blazer it is on a weekday. I’m wearing an XS.

Let’s also talk about these shoes that give major Chanel vibes. I’m a 7 or 7.5 and took a 7.5 in these. They come in a ton of colorways if this one isn’t your preference and the heel is so comfortable! I love them with black pants, denim, or midi skirts and a white tee.

Do you like to extend your work wardrobe into the weekend?!

Hi Katey, You are so stunning girl. Many wished they could be like you, me, I just do my thing! ? Your colors are amazing. Blazer reminds me of the 70’s. I use to dress similar but no heels. Keep doing what you’re doing, keep going.
I don’t work anymore due to a Head Injury. Old age is creeping up on on me. I use to be strong willed and confident. I just take one Day at a Time.
Thank you for sharing your blog with us, it’s kind of you.
    Have a great weekend ?
