Holiday Photo Outfits with Kids

The Details

Thank you to Janie and Jack for partnering with me on this blog post!

What’s that meme that floats around say? “Moms will bribe their children for photos and then post them and say, ‘The Reason I Breathe‘.”

Haha! Oh, the holiday card. Some dread the photos. Some adore the photos. Some get nervous about the photos. All cherish the memories.

As you plan your photoshoots this year, I’m thrilled to partner with Janie and Jack to share some outfit inspiration for your little ones!

I’ve been a loyal Janie and Jack shopper since I was pregnant with Maxi, and I can think to all of our “couple” Scottsdale trips where we immediately land and end up shopping at Janie and Jack for her. One thing I deeply appreciate as a mom of two is that you can get coordinating looks for both boy and girl! Sisters can easily match. Brothers can easily match. But goodness, I’m learning it takes a little bit of extra work for matching brother and sister! {Which you all know I’m very pro doing! ha.} This was a breeze with the Janie and Jack holiday collections.

My little Eloise in the making loves to help me pick her clothes while I shop, and she selected this plaid dress. I went to grab her brother’s sweater, and she FLIPPED out over the dog one! They pair beautifully together. If you follow my Insta Stories, you know Maxi is a dog lover. Peaches is her best friend and she adores all the neighborhood dogs. One of our neighbors has a rescued Golden Retriever named Murphy. Maxi walks down to see Murphy DAILY. She was a bit distraught when Murphy’s mom had a baby 2 weeks ago and she went 2 days without seeing the dog. ha. Across the street our neighbors have a dog named, “Molly” and Maxi talks about Molly as if she is her bff from dance class. Naturally, she was thrilled about her brother’s outfit. Happy toddler = happy holiday photos. That’s the secret, right?!

If you have any holiday church services or moments you’d need a mask, they also made precious ones that go with more formal attire! You can see them here.

We loved the finished looks so much, that when we got the photos back Paul was like, “Wait, can you photoshop me in?!” ha. I told him this was just to get some photos for blog readers early to help them plan holiday card photos, but I secretly used them to make a calendar for him for Christmas.

I hope you love these looks as much as I do AND the exciting news is I’ve got a discount code for my Janie and Jack fans! {Never been so excited to personally use one of my own discount codes before. #AddToCart}
