4 Polishes to Try for Fall

In partnership with Walmart. All opinions and purchases are my own!

Have a manicure appointment this week or need to make a Walmart run and restock your polishes for fall? Today’s post is just for that! 😉 I know when we think fall, we think Lincoln Park After Dark and all the crisp dark shades we can find. But if you want *softer* fall hues {a bit more forgiving with chips!} I’ve got 4 favorites for you to browse.

OPI AmazON…AmazOFF

Think fall? Think green. Green is a key trend from accessories to nails this fall. While sage nails are the specific trend, take your love of dark polish and add a touch of green. This was my fall go-to shade last year, but I still have a bottle left to use. OPI AmazON…AmazOFF is a beautiful emerald that makes my skin feel a bit more bronze- which is rare for a dark polish! It glides nicely and has a ton of shine with 2 coats. It has a touch of shimmer, so it’s forgiving to apply and with chips. This polish from their new website is perfect for the glam girl and bringing out your inner Gossip Girl. 😉

Essie Limo-Scene

If you are a fan of Essie Ballet Slippers or OPI Bubble Bath, you’ll love this color. It’s sheer but buildable with 2 or 3 coats. It’s your everyday neutral color, that has a creamy undertone and isn’t too pink for fall. It’s very clean and sophisticated. This polish is perfect for the classic girl that loves to keep her manicure shade her signature.

OPI Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs.

If you want something a bit more opaque than Essie Limo-Scene, this will be one to purchase. It’s like OPI Mod About You had a neutral baby that isn’t as shockingly chalky. If you have family photos or weddings this fall, I think this is one you can’t go wrong with. If you have an almond shape nail, it would be beautiful! With Glitterbels builder gel, you can create the nail shape you want. I wore this for our Christmas card shoot. This polish is perfect for the girl that loves feminine details, lace dresses, and embracing light hues year-round.

Sally Hansen Thyme is Money

Sage nails are the trend of the season and for less than $5 {far less than a gel mani!} you can try it! Sally Hansen Insta-Dri truly dries so fast. I painted these before bed and had no sheet smudges as you can see. It is a bit thicker of a formula, so just make sure to really get excess off your brush. I have tried this formula with everything from dark to light pink and that seems to be the trick! This polish is perfect for the trendsetter. If print mixing doesn’t scare you, you must try this!

You can grab all of these polishes from Walmart and order online here. They have a huge range of brands, I even get my dip powders online there because it freaks the germaphobe in me out to use the same jar everyone else does. What are your go-to polishes for fall?

Love all of these! I used to get my nails done every two weeks and realized how quickly that adds up financially so for the past two months I’ve been doing my nails myself and posts like these keep me going when I want to quit and go to the salon?
