My mulan bun & I wore this little skirt to the River Island cocktail party at the blog conference I went to a few weekends ago! It has literally gone through everything with me because while we were there [in an outdoor tent] it started raining, lightening, thundering & the tornado sirens were going off. It got soaked and yet I still managed to get to Mi Cocina in it! #alwaysthereforme

I’d been wanting an off-the-shoulder top for summer so badly! But because I have broad shoulders [thanks, Dad] off-the-shoulder tops aren’t the most flattering. They are cute, but not the type of cute where you want to take 500 pictures in them and Fedex them to Ryan Reynolds. I was really hesitant to wear this when I had ordered it because it was so inexpensive, but the material makes it so much more flattering! It actually gives you a shape without being fitted. I want to pair it with my One Teaspoon shorts next!
