I was so thrilled to see the response from the Nordstrom Sale Lookbook and how much you all enjoyed it! I love a great street style photo, it really allows you to get an idea of how the outfit looks in movement and it can inspire you on where to wear it. You all know I’m quite guilty of wearing Wildfox sweaters into the ground. I wore a “Merry Christmas” one for approximately 64 days straight while pregnant and wore it to the hospital {February 11th…way past December 25th} to give birth. But cheeky sweaters aren’t always appropriate, so I was really excited to see this teddy-like pullover. This is more fitted than Wildfox, which I like! A striped cardigan paired with a hat is the easiest “I want to be comfortable but not wear athleisure” travel outfit. BP. makes some of my favorite affordable scarves, so I will link their line below! Plaid scarves can dress up a plain cotton dress with over-the-knee boots or a simple cardigan with jeans. I actually cleaned out a good portion of my scarves last weekend and gave a bulk to my sister. This one inspired me to do that because it is the “Goldilocks” amount of bulk. It’s not too thick and not too thin, it is just right. I throw on some scarves and it is like I’m not adding any layers and then some feel like they weigh 14 pounds.

How cute is this camo scarf?! Mine also said it was available to ship December 22nd, but I got it about 2 weeks after I placed my order, so not sure how updated that is. However, there is this scarf which is nearly identical for half the price. I styled the scarf with this sweater {from Walmart.com!} and this bag! For $27, I was shocked by the quality. This is another travel look that I think is great for a little fall road trip. I think I’ll wear it when we head to Midland this weekend for my girlfriend’s wedding reception! I already feel bad for Paul on this drive- I say my husband driving the car is better than Melatonin. I will start taking the best nap once he turns out of the neighborhood. Anyone else that way?! I bought this dress to wear for church. I like to dress up a little more for church, but in the fall I always feel like I’m wearing the same old leopard dress because I have no other autumnal tones. MADEWELL CAMO SWEATER

Originally, I bought this camo sweater a month or so ago at Madewell with the intent to wear it while working from home. However, it has worked perfectly with a suede skirt I have from last year! My sister has borrowed this and worn it with faux leather leggings and booties- and it turned out perfect! It is a more loose sweater, so just be careful with what you wear on the bottom for balance. I’d either wear a skirt or skinny jeans or leggings. I would avoid my wide-leg denim with this. I’m wearing a size: XS. Shop it here.
