2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Lookbook

Happy start to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, friends! Lately, I’ve been so inspired by lookbooks! I think they are fresh, fun, and a wonderful way to get an idea of how to wear an item you purchase! I wanted to incorporate that for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so shopping is easy for you- and you don’t spend 6 hours skimming through pages upon pages online. My thought was affordable looks you could wear multiple spots.

Enter, the 2018 NSale lookbook! I hope this method makes your shopping enjoyable. Remember, if you are a Nordstrom cardholder {debit or credit!} you can shop this sale early. If not, don’t worry! You’ll have access to the sale next Friday. Keep reading to see what I’m giving away.

BP. Plaited Drop Shoulder Sweater

Sale price: $31.90 // After sale: $49 // Runs TTS

I snagged up this pink sweater because it’s such a transitional pop of color. You could wear it with shorts heading into fall and with denim and booties once the temperatures drop. This is also the type of sweater I would wear around the house 24/7. I’m wearing a size: S. Shop it here.

{Gucci Bag}

BP. Twist Front Sweater

Sale price: $31.90 // After sale: $49 // Runs TTS

Yesterday, I saw a ton of wrap sweaters on trend for fall! This makes me so happy because I’m all about making an everyday staple a bit fancier. You could even wear these types of sweaters with a longer white tank for a layered effect. I’m wearing a size: S. Shop it here.

{Bralette// Jeans-on sale, TTS!}

BP. Exposed Seam Sweater

Sale price: $31.90 // After sale: $49 // Runs TTS

Anytime I see a sweater this hue, I grab it! This sweater has loose sleeves to give it body and has a hi-low effect so you can easily front-tuck it in your denim. If you’re a girl that likes to wear sweaters with white denim in the fall, then this is the perfect shade to do it with. This is a looser sweater, but I found it to fit TTS. I’m wearing a size: S. Shop it here.

{Bralette // Necklaces// Jeans– on sale, TTS!}

Socialite Lace Romper

Sale price: $56.90 // After sale: $85 // Runs TTS

Is this not the most perfect thing for a bride-to-be?! Snatch it up for your next bachelorette party! Personally, I bought this lace romper because I love it for a summer date night. If we went to a concert or to eat on a patio, I’d be cool enough to enjoy it. This runs TTS. I’m wearing a size: XS. Shop it here.

Leith Rib Wrap Sweater

Sale price: $39.90 // After sale: $59 // Runs Small

I was a dancer for 16 years of my life, so this rib wrap sweater reminded me of ballet sweaters! I’m quite fond of those 😉 so I had to grab this. This comes in a ton of hues, but I thought the green was just stunning. My sister and I disagree on the fit about this. She got her normal size, but I sized up. I think sizing up allows you to wear a tank under if you feel you want to! I’m wearing a size: M. Shop it here.

Socialite Tie Waist T-Shirt Dress

Sale price: $39.90 // After sale: $49 // Runs TTS

Do y’all remember this blog post? The tie waist dress is one of my most read and shopped outfit posts so far of 2018- so I was thrilled to find a look for less. I grabbed it in black since I already have the gray. However, they have both colors in stock for you! Because my gray dress is looser, I went a more fitted option and grabbed an XS. However, I tried on both S {my regular size in dresses} and XS and didn’t notice a big enough difference to sway me. I love that this is an NSale find I can shop now AND wear now as this sale is typically geared towards fall and winter. Shop it here.

Leith Side Split Midi Cardigan

Sale price: $49.90 // After sale: $75 // Runs large

This was another look for less I immediately grabbed once I got in store. I saw a lavender duster like this last year but it was triple the price. This felt to be great quality and I layered it over a t-shirt dress for a different look. You can also pair this with white denim and a white tank if you live somewhere chillier like the Bay Area. This runs large. I’m wearing a size: XXS. Shop it here.

BLANKNYC No Limit Suede Moto Jacket

Sale price: $125.90 // After sale: $188 // Runs large

Each year, one of the most sought-after Nordstrom buys is the BLANKNYC suede jacket. These sell out over and over again as a testament to how versatile they are. This is my 3rd one if that says anything- and it’s not because I’m replacing. I just get a different shade each year! Living in Texas, this is basically the only outerwear I need until January. I do typically size down in these jackets, but if you have broad shoulders I would stay your same size. I’m wearing a size: XS. Shop it here.

{Jeans– on sale, TTS!}

AGL Pointy Toe Mule

Sale price: $239.90 // After sale: $365 // Runs TTS

These were my “trend” shoes I had to grab this year! I love a mule with wide-legged cropped denim and felt these were the perfect creamy shade of white. I found these to be TTS, I’m wearing a 37.5. Shop them here.

{Jeans– on sale and TTS!}

Louise Et Cie Cela Bow Slide

Sale price: $84.90 // After sale: $129.95 // Runs TTS

These were the *first* things I wanted when I saw the Anniversary Sale catalog. I had to snap a pic with them next to my chair since they seem to be a match made in heaven! 😉 I found these to run TTS. Wearing a size 7. Shop them here.

{Jeans– on sale and TTS!}

Marc Fisher Miggi Bootie

Sale price: $124.90 // After sale: $188.95 // Runs Small

Love these so much I’m getting them in black suede, too! I had bookmarked these from the catalog as well and they were *just* as lovely in person! You know I’m a fan of the white bootie trend- see here and here. The last pair I had was a little more casual, so I loved that I could wear this pair with dressier skirts and tops. Marc Fisher is one of my favorite shoe designers, so I always think his styles are a safe bet while shopping. I’m wearing a size 7.5. Shop them here.

SARTO by Franco Sarto Topaz Flat

Sale price: $84.90 // After sale: $128.95 // Runs TTS

Realistically, I think these are the shoes I purchased that I will wear numerous times a week. I think they dress up any denim situation and automatically elevate your look a few chic notches. I am wearing a size: 7. Shop them here.

I purchased a few more cozy, at-home pieces which I’ll have a blog post on tomorrow, as well. I’m also shopping more online today as online has about 75% more product than I had in-store. Until my post, here are a few things I grabbed:

  1. Vince Alora Mule in Nude
  2. This sweatshirt is seriously just like a Wildfox one- but for $25! I sized up.
  3. THE pink blazer is back and updated! Y’all love mine, shop it here. See more of my looks here and here.
  4. This beige tote was my most surprising purchase of the day. I wouldn’t have looked twice at this online. However, in person, I couldn’t stop coming back to it. I love it for day-to-day as I can use it as a purse and diaper bag. I love that it zips, so if I bend over to pick up Maxi, nothing falls out. It would be perfect for travel, as well.
  5. Talk about a comfortable bralette. I picked up a few of these along with my favorite underwear.
  6. I’m going to finish shopping online for Maxi as they just didn’t have as much in her size in store. However, I was able to get this sweet little jacket.
  7. I also picked up my favorite bibs for her.
  8. My straightening iron broke 3 weeks ago, so it was perfect timing to buy this.
  9. I plan on purchasing this Tory Burch bootie as I always love to grab TB shoes during this sale.
  10. For a splurge, I just adore this faux fur hoodie!

As a thank you, for reading and shopping with COF during this sale, I’m doing a giveaway!

I get so many questions about my “Maxi” necklace by Lola James Jewelry, so I’m giving a Squad Goals necklace away to a reader. To win, share my FB post to your page! Winner will be announced next week.

I hope you enjoyed this new lookbook- I had so much fun making it for you all!

    Just wanted to say this was SO well done. It’s 6:30 am in Atlanta and I’m sitting in the airport waiting to board my flight to see my bestie in DFW, actually 🙂 I ended up buying sooo many of the things on here. It made it so easy to shop since we are a similar size and I loved how you did the photos. Definitely my favorite anniversary sale post I’ve seen! I’m so happy about the white romper by the way!!!! Thank you for taking the time to make the sale a breeze for us readers. Xx

    Love this post! I appreciate a good lookbook! Questions: which Chanel studs are these? Have they been worth the money? I’ve been eyeing them for a few months now.

      Hi Destiny! I couldn’t find them on the Chanel site but these are them: https://www.tradesy.com/i/chanel-gold-tone-new-pearl-classic-cc-logo-earrings/23300513/

      I just got them last week from ebay- they have this new authenticity program my girlfriend told me about. I had an ebay gift card so they were only $100 out of my pocket, so I really am glad I got them. However, I haven’t worn them long enough to say if I would buy them at Chanel! But I *do* think I would as I’ve really enjoyed them. I hope that helps! 🙂

    I love that you took time to create a lookbook instead of taking mirror selfies at Nordstrom’s with the price tag still attached to items you “bought”. This is much more genuine and shows you took the time and truly liked the items you’re promoting. Well done!
