Our Thanksgiving Table

Happy Thanksgiving week! Our groceries are purchased, our table is set, I’ll finish cleaning the house today, and start on holiday baking. I plan to make these tonight, but gluten-free for my mom.

Today, I wanted to share our Thanksgiving table and how I decorated for the holiday. For the most part, I just mixed in what I had with MacKenzie-Childs pumpkins, place settings, and my favorite wine glasses from Anthropologie. I made the arrangements with flowers from Central Market. I pulled together peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, seasonal sprigs, and eucalyptus that was spray-painted rose gold! I thought the eucalyptus was such a fun idea {I saw it at Anthropologie!} because you can take your tablescape that you already have and make it to fit your seasonal style. To me, the rose gold and pumpkins make this a fall spin on what I’m usually drawn to. I purchased the gold candles at Anthropologie because I knew I would use them year-round and keep my backstock in my candle closet. I went to a Christmas luncheon at my mom’s church about a month ago and my biggest takeaway was that you can decorate your Thanksgiving {or any holiday} table with things you will use in the future. So maybe you decorate with pomegranates you’ll eat next week or you can decorate with candles you will use all year long. I had originally wanted these gold pears I saw in a store, then thought they’d just sit in a closet for the rest of the year.

I hope you enjoy this look at our dining room! Our chairs haven’t come in yet {still!!!} but we just pulled in our kitchen chairs and it totally works. Are you hosting Thanksgiving or going somewhere?

Hi Amanda! My friend Ashley gave them to me. Her decorator got them for her at market years ago, she moved and didn’t have space for them, so I took them off her hands. 😉 However, Wisteria usually has identical ones! xx, Katey
