A Clutter-Free Gift for Kids

This time of year, we all hear the same sentiment from parents and grandparents, “I want to give gifts, but we don’t need more toys!” It is a delicate balance between wanting to enjoy the holiday magic of gift-giving, while not creating an over-stimulating playroom filled with toys never touched. Experience gifts can be a little tricky right now depending on where you live, but what about one at home?

Enter, KiwiCo We’ve had the KiwiCo subscription for Maxi for 18 months {my parents get it for her as well!} and we all have never wavered in our obsession with it. KiwiCo was founded by a mom of 3, to spark creativity, tinkering, and learning in kids. It is a monthly subscription crate for kids ages 0-14, and we will now be starting the Panda Crate for Harry this Christmas! The crates are based on age and are all created by a team of product designers in-house in Mountain View, CA. Then they are rigorously tested by kids and follow the STEAM model {science, technology, engineering, art, and math}. You can see in the photos above Maxi growing in age with her subscription. So sweet.

I snapped some casual photos of her box this month at my parents’ house, as I wanted her to just enjoy her box, with me still showing you what is inside. But as you can see, the girl LOVES to take a picture. haha.

This is such a wonderful grandparent gift as the subscription lasts long after the awe of a new toy does. You can even ship the first month to yourself to give the box in person and then ship the rest directly to the recipient.

Each kit has activities, a packet for parents to help them guide while kids learn hands-on, and a magazine for kids to continue their learning and curiosity all month. I’ve shared before but I will keep the boxes in our media console, so if a babysitter comes over and I’ve got to sneak out, this gives them new entertainment.

I’m thrilled to partner with them to offer you all a discount. You can get 50% off your first month using THIS link!
