I am 100% pro white bedding. I’ll admit, it’s intimidating. What if I spill my Diet Coke? What if my spray tan rubs off? What if I fall asleep without taking my makeup off? You bleach, girl. You bleach.

But my theory on white bedding is that it is the most welcoming. How else do hotels get you to lie in a bed that 10,000 stranger have slept in? That’s just not natural. If white bedding that reminds me of clouds can get me to forget about the germs I’m about to snuggle up with, it sure can get me to forget about all my stress when I go to sleep in my own home.

I had a great white quilt all while living in Dallas but I knew I needed to change it once Paul and I were married. I actually forgot to register for bedding in our master bedroom! I remembered to register for everything from a pizza cutter to a butter dish, but I think I was just incredibly tired the day we looked at linens.

Paul and I used a little duvet I wasn’t in love with for the time being and then I was actually able to update my bedding with this Crane and Canopy Vienna Duvet. I wanted something clean but with a touch of ruffles. I was so excited to find this because it’s not overly feminine, and yet still has a Southern touch to it.

If you aren’t familiar with Crane & Canopy, I’ll fill you in! They are an online bedding brand that features luxury designer bedding at a more accessible price. You essentially can save up to 70% off department store pricing. Then a portion of all proceeds go towards C&C’s cause initiative, “A Safe Night’s Sleep, “which benefits women and children affected by domestic violence.

I got the bedding monogrammed through AJ Designs you can find them here! I had a horror story in college once where I got a huge longchamp tote monogrammed and they didn’t know what a circle monogram was. And forgot my correct last name. And well you can probably imagine how bad that turned out….

I then started to use her and that’s what I used for all of my wedding gifts/linens to be monogrammed.

I incorporated some leopard pillows for a fun print! You can get some here! It’s so easy because with white bedding you are always able to swap out print as you change your decor, which is a really inexpensive trick to decorating. Just swap out throw pillows and your quilt and your whole room feels revamped.

Do you have any tips and tricks for revamping your bedroom and making it feel refreshed?! I’d love to hear!
