Thanksgiving is a marathon for Paul and I. We are truly lucky to have so much family around and so we like to be able to see everyone on the day of so we can celebrate! 🙂 However, we both grew up traveling for the holidays so we have made a really firm decision that when we have kids we will “park it” at either one grandparent’s house or say, “Y’all are more than welcome to come to our house.” I remember my holidays being in a car and I definitely don’t want our kids to.

But for now we are able and enjoy eating 5 different Thanksgiving dinners! 😉 Because we are in the car so much on Thanksgiving I like to keep this day pretty comfortable! To be honest, if I don’t have a Diet Coke with me in the car I just pass out. You know how some moms put their babies in the car and drive around to get them to sleep? That’s me. But in adult form. Paul starts driving and I’m like, “Okay, see you in 45 minutes!” I’m the worst passenger ever…or the best? Not sure…

But whether you drive all over town to see different family members or stay at your grandma’s, Thanksgiving just calls for comfortable leggings #CanIGetanAmen?! Sweet potatoes, stuffing and pecan pie don’t exactly scream, “Mini skirt, please!”
