When I gave a speech at my mom’s 50th birthday party I said a few things that everyone knows to be true about her.

1. She taught me there is absolutely no reason to have $100 in your purse if you can’t use it to help others.

My mother has this hobby. She will take an afternoon and drive around trying to find anyone in need that is homeless. She asks them, “What can I do to bless you?” She will then drive them anywhere they might need to go. A doctor’s office. A pharmacy. Buy them groceries. Etc. It is her absolute favorite thing to do and I can only hope that when I have little kiddos they get their grandma’s heart.

2. She has one too many friends.

You can’t throw a party for my mom because 4 hours before she will call and say, “Honey, the lady checking me out at the grocery store is so nice. I told her to meet us here.” It’s impossible to plan a proper guest list because she will have invited all her friends, their neighbors and their cousin’s sister in law.

3. I’ve never seen her wrists naked.

That sounds grossly exaggerated but I legitimately do not know what my mother’s wrists look like. She wears roughly 12 bracelets on each wrist and doesn’t take them off for anything. To shower. To go to the beach. To ski. They just don’t come off. So naturally, that has made me a jewelry girl.

I have an entire vanity area in our master bedroom just dedicated to my jewelry addiction [you can see here!] and anytime I can find an amazing jewelry sale I have to feed that little vanity.

Elizabeth Showers is a Texas jewelry designer and you are probably most familiar with her work because she is sold at Neiman Marcus. Her pieces remind me of every little thing Emily Maynard wore on her season of The Bachelorette. Emily Maynard does no wrong in my book, so naturally I love Elizabeth Showers’ pieces.

Two things that truly stand out about her line are the versatility and her mission.

From diamond stacking bands [this would make for a great addition to your wedding band if you want to add an extra!] to big turquoise earrings, any girl with any taste can find a piece. Working in the fashion industry, I am spoiled with previewing lines and the jewelry industry severely lacks versatility. You go one place for dainty jewels. You go another for cocktail-sized statement pieces. Elizabeth Showers definitely has both, so it’s easy to shop for yourself as well as others. I wanted to style her pieces two ways in this post so you could see how easily stacking bands or big earrings can work into your wardrobe. If you’re in your twenties just starting your jewelry collection with stacking bracelets, or if you have a jewelry box that has been filled for years, it’s still easy to incorporate.

Secondly, her purpose is to remind every woman how precious and beautiful she is and allowing the jewelry to serve as that daily reminder. I had the pleasure of meeting her when I went to look at her line and she is one of the most genuine people with the sweetest heart. It was easy to see all the love she pours into each piece as she thinks of the woman who will wear it.

She is selling all of her inventory with her End-of-An-Era Sale because after 20 years of business she wants to refocus on her next line. I wanted to share this because my dad is absolutely horrible at buying presents for my mom. He calls me an hour before her birthday lunch and asks me what to get her. Men need a gentle reminder, so feel free to send this to your dad, husband or brother!

They can easily get diamond bands, diamond earrings and any gem on sale. She is even adding an extra 10% off the additional sale for this feature for my readers! Just use code twinkle10 at checkout!

Let me know if you choose to add some beautiful gems to your jewelry box or another band for your wedding ring! And if you’re expecting a little one, it’s never too early in my opinion to get your push present. 😉

Have a wonderful Monday! I hope this post served as some Holiday party jewelry inspo!
