I had worked on a spring/summer makeup routine post so many times the past few weeks! But each time I rambled like a little girl in elementary school a teacher has to separate from her friends. You are so precious! I saw on your snapchat you were nervous about making this but seriously, it came out great. Do a hair one for us too sometime! 😉 My past college roommate is now a cosmetic chemist/product development specialist for a group that manages a lot of the big make up brands – she’s always filling me in on the latest and greatest in the beauty world. I couldn’t agree more that these products are the tried and true that will be around a long time! A lot of bloggers/Youtubers will promote what is trending right now, but I love that you’ve stuck with what works for you and explained why these are investment pieces that will last! hey Katey!!! I am trying to figure out what you were saying about the cream shadow. I also like the look of cream better but i always find i get bad creases. Was it the MAC cream shadow that allowed for a smooth look? You don’t use a primer? I am so terrible with makeup but I need to get some good stuff.

Yes! It is the MAC Paint Pot linked! You don’t have to use a primer with it and it won’t crease because of the consistency! 🙂

I wanted to say that I really enjoyed this video!! I love your makeup style and agree with what you said about feeling comfortable and yourself no matter what season it is. It was also very educational finding out about the serum mascara! Definitely pricey, as you said, but too cool!! I just started using Latisse– Big lashes are the best!
