Yesterday on twitter I asked what your favorite type of home decor was! Most of you said you love the Fixer Upper farmhouse style and that your design bestie is Joanna Gaines. I’ve decorated and redecorated so many different little nooks before that half the time I don’t even know what I like best. I always call my personal style Southern Eclectic. It’s not necessarily that I have a farmhouse look with leopard throw pillows [but I LOVE that!], it’s more in what I’m drawn to. I love linen furniture and neutral hues, but I also love mixed prints. These photos are from the early stages of our home and even then, my style has changed so much. If I had to decorate another home [Oh pull my leg! If I “had” to! 😉 #IdLoveTo] I think I’d veer on the transitional side with pinches of eclectic items thrown in. One of my “social media friends” as I like to call her, Sam, has that style down. I would consider my home transitional. But I love how you style your home with eclectic knick knacks. I think they add a little character and talking points which I am trying to add to my home!

Omg, that picture of Peaches in the dresser drawers is TOO CUTE!
I love the idea of using an empty, cleaned out diptyque candle to hold matches next to a full candle! I think lighters can look so ugly so I keep them stored away – this is a perfect alternative!

I looove anything white with pops of color. Mixing patterns (especially with pillows) is also my fav! I also love modern artwork for the walls! I feel like what people hang on their walls says a lot about them, haha! Anyways, these are my favorite home tours! I hope you like them too!

All my matches generally come from matches I was gifted! Lots of boutiques where I live sell colorful matches. Beehive Boutique is one of the places! xo
