Happiest Friday, friends! I hope you had a fabulous week. I feel like I’m getting so thrown off with it staying dark until 8:30 or so. It’s like I don’t start winding down until it is dark at 9 p.m. and then somehow don’t fall asleep until midnight. This week has been one big balance of using essential oils to fall asleep and then chugging coffee throughout the day to stay awake. Anyone else feel that way?!

I started the week with an affordable try-on haul on Insta Stories on Sunday, so I’m happy to be ending the week on an affordable note, as well. You shouldn’t have to splurge on a trend to feel like you can rock it, in fact, I think you should do the opposite.

I decided to do a little haul post with The Styled Collection, so you could see the pieces I got before you start seeing them on repeat in outfit pictures. Summer statement jewelries and diamond varieties always sell out so quickly and I hate when I get something, photograph it and weeks later can’t link it for you all. I thought I’d test out a little haul post to see if we can avoid that. 🙂

You know the gold lariat necklaces you see every fashion blogger wear? They are from The Styled Collection {see all of them here} and they are the shop I have purchased my look-for-less pieces from. I get a lot of DM’s about those bracelets, so I decided to partner with them on this post today. Let’s see what I got!

For summer 2018, tropical vibes and layered metals are the trends you’ll be seeing everywhere. Tropical trends nod to colorful earrings you would wear headed to dinner after a long day at the beach. You want your earrings to speak for you, so you can go with fuss-free hair and makeup. Who wants to do a winged eye after a day in the sun?! I’m always so exhausted after a day at the beach, so I can’t bring myself to do that.

For layered metals, you’ll once again see lariat necklaces and tiered earrings. You can use these pieces to really dress up a white tank with cut-off denim shorts! I also think a lariat necklace is so chic paired with an inexpensive black bikini at the pool. It reminds me of Kristin Cavallari, and who doesn’t want that? Speaking of Cavallari, who is going to watch her show this summer? I’m so excited, especially with how this season of The Bachelorette is going.

To obtain that tropical trend, I grabbed the Gabriella Dangles in Pink and Light Pink. These are $24 and VERY lightweight. Many of y’all ask about earring weight and I am the girl that takes earrings off at dinner if they are heavy. No poor etiquette shame here. I can’t handle a heavy earring, and these aren’t at all. Pair these with a white sundress, a top knot, minimal makeup and a punchy lip like Nars Schiap.

Now the layered metals trend doesn’t necessarily mean silver on top of gold, but you could do that! When it comes to jewelry design, it’s all about personal taste first and foremost. This is more tiered jewelry {think bib necklaces} and lariats. If you hate to spend money on swimwear, this is the best way to elevate your look! Get a $10 bikini, with this Amor Lariat and you automatically have a model-off-duty look.

My last tropical pick are the Moroccan Tassels. Denim, a crisp white button-down, a low bun, and ballet flats would pair perfectly with these if you don’t want to go for the expected summer romper. This is the turquoise shade, online they look a little darker but they are a true turquoise as pictured.

Lastly, another light earring, the Ares Dangle. These remind me of a bib necklace but for your ears- which is so fun. This is definitely the dressiest piece from my haul and would pair lovely with an LBD.
