Gifts for Brides and Moms-to-Be + Giveaway

The Details

Dalton Necklace | Preston Charm Bracelet | Blazer | Tank | Jeans | photography by: Angie Garcia | In collaboration with Moon & Lola. All purchases & opinions are my own

Do y’all remember when Paul and I went to a Duke basketball game a few years back? We did a little weekend for him but I just made one very *very* small and selfless request. 😉 I wanted to go to the Moon & Lola store. He agreed and that is when I purchased my very first Moon & Lola piece: the Preston Charm Bracelet. Most of my girlfriends had that bracelet and I had eyed it for a year, so naturally I was thrilled to pick it up. I got the large “H” charm with the cotton pearl accent charm. I’ve paired it with my watches for years and always feel it is a nod to my mom’s charm bracelet vice she instilled in me.

Then, when Maxi was about a month old, I was gifted the Dalton Necklace with the small “M” charm on it. This necklace is actually one I get a ton of t e-mails about as y’all are curious on sizing and details! You all know I live in sentimental gold necklaces, and this one is one I have on repeat in my jewelry box.

Today, I’m talking gifts, answering your questions, and hosting a giveaway for Moon and Lola!

First things first, let’s chat gifts. Y’all know I always say COF girls might be the most thoughtful of them all because the most common question I get {at least 25 times a day via e-mail} is in regards to gifting brides and moms. From the moment your girlfriends tell you they are pregnant and show you their sonograms, your wheels are turning! After you enjoy a glass of bubbly for your friend that is a bride-to-be, you’re online searching for something thoughtful. Want to be my bff?! 😉 What I love about these Moon & Lola options are that they are well-priced {both these items are under $100} and they have longevity. I didn’t even clean these pieces before I photographed them because I wanted you to see how they wear. The bracelet is years old and has been tossed around airport security, the bottom of my makeup bag, and clanked around grocery carts while I shop season after season. I think they look pretty stinkin’ fabulous if I do say so myself!

Here’s a few photos throughout the years:

What Do I Recommend?

For your newly engaged friend, I would go with the Preston Charm Bracelet! I may be biased since I purchased that bracelet before I had Maxi, but I think it’s such a classic piece. I know I grew up loving my charm bracelet, and to me, this is the elevated version. Add her initial like I have and she’ll have it for years to come. You could also add a southern touch with a monogram of their new initial as a couple.

If you want to add something sweet to the registry gift or treat your friend when they share their baby’s name with you, I’d go for the Dalton Necklace! I have the “small” charm that has an “M” on it. I was gifted it when she was a month or so old, and I cherish it so much! It sounds so cheesy, but it just reminds me of those early months rocking her for hours. I also have this necklace with the “large” charm with a “P” for Paul. You can kind of see the bottom of the charm in the throwback photo above in the red dress!

But regardless of whom you need to gift or what exciting things you are celebrating, I’m excited to share Moon & Lola today as I’ve loved/shopped/shared them for years! Today on my Instagram you can enter to win your own Dalton Necklace, Preston Charm Bracelet, AND a $50 gift card! Head there later today to enter!

I hope you all have a fabulous day! Have you ever shopped Moon & Lola?!
