Does anyone remember my bachelorette party at Kendra Scott? I feel like I look like SUCH a baby in these photos, but here. Take a look. 😉

I took my bridesmaids to Kendra Scott for the Color Bar the day of my bachelorette party, so that I could give them their wedding day earrings and that ended up being one of their bridesmaid gifts. It was my first time trying the Color Bar and I loved that they could all have a say and help design their earrings on our wedding day. How can you go wrong with mimosas and designing jewelry?! It was also a great way to allow my flower girls to join in and feel special, as well. If you are a bride, I can’t recommend it enough.

Fast forward a few years, and while working with Kendra Scott, I told them I’d love to highlight the Color Bar now. There have been quite a few new additions to the KS line since my bachelorette party, so I thought it would be fun to take a peek.

In case you aren’t familiar with the Color Bar, it is a way in-store and online where you can design your own jewelry, charms, and home decor. There are 50+ styles with 30+ stones and the entire process can be completed rather quickly in a matter of minutes.

I popped over while Maxi was at MDO last week and I had two styles in mind: something Maxi-focused and something drusy-focused.

Rainbow-hued jewelry is having a moment, I mean you can’t even get on Instagram without seeing some ring or earrings with every color included. I’m a fan like most girls, but I wanted to take that trend and make it a little more punchy- to remind me of how Maxi colors.

I stopped by the Kendra Scott Clearfork location and the girls there were really sweet and loved the idea of taking a trend and making it remind me of my toddler. To create this bracelet, we went with the Tara bracelet in Gold. Then we selected bright stones, but we didn’t arrange them in a perfect pattern. I wanted it to have an imperfect arrangement, like if Maxi had selected the stone layout. One side has milkier stones, another has bright colors and black. The result ended up being perfect! I wore it while doing an Instagram Live last week and everyone kept asking where my bracelet was from! I loved seeing that vision of a “Maxi Bracelet” come to life in a stylish and beautiful piece. If you have an older toddler, I think it would be really sweet to recreate that and let them “pick” their favorite stones. And with this taking all but 2 minutes to complete, it is something their sweet little attention spans could handle!

Next up, I wanted some gold drusy in my life! We created the Sheila Earrings in gold with Turquoise Magnesite as the top stone and Gold Drusy on the bottom. I selected these earrings because they are unbelievably light {one of the lightest pairs of earrings I own!} and the hoops do a great job of facing forward instead of the side, so you can really see the stones with your outfit. Then, I did the Maddie Necklace to match my Sheila Earrings. This is a pair I know I’ll wear a lot in the spring with a silky tank and high ponytail.

Here are some more drusy & rainbow-focused pieces!

I hope this answers the questions for those curious about my bracelet! Have you ever tried the Color Bar?
