Maxi’s Frozen 4th Birthday

Our precious girl turned 4 last month! As all mamas, I could gush, cry, and type for days about the pride, joy, and gratitude I feel as her mother. She loves deeply. She is joyful. She is tender. She is has brought to life every childhood dream I had of motherhood. She is a mini mama to her baby brother. She is my sidekick helper with work, patiently coloring by my side daily as I try to navigate the balance. She is an extension of my heart and soul, and there is no better human that could have taught me how to be a mother. Motherhood isn’t all rainbows and butterflies, but she and Harry are to me. Oh, how our children will never know the love we have for them!

To know me is to know I LOVE to throw my people a party. I feel fulfilled celebrating others, thinking of the details, and making sure their wishes come to life. I knew it would be a little different with COVID {we did a family party with her bff from school} but goodness, it was wonderful!! I was able to sit and talk to our parents while we ate cake and joked with Paul a family party with 1 friend might just be the best way to do it. 😉 It was the right amount of calm with the right amount of crazy.

I asked Maxi what she wanted to do for her birthday to which she promptly {as if she had been agonizing over this for ages} replied, “I want to have a sleepover with Gigi and have a Frozen waffle party!} Sleepover with Gigi? Check. Make waffles? Check. Watch Frozen? Check.

I found The Campsite Parties on Instagram and they had a Winter Wonderland theme which was perfect for Frozen. They come and set up everything from the tents to the cake to the balloons. It was almost too easy. I got waffle mix and my dad helped make waffles, so everyone could grab their own toppings. We made s’mores outside and came in to watch Frozen.

If you’re planning a Frozen party for your little Elsa, here are some details we had:
