First things first, ignore the goose bumps. When YOU wear this dress it won’t be 38 degrees in the rain, so your legs won’t look like some form of chicken skin. I wore this dress when we went to go pick up Peaches and wanted to recreate the look for the blog. And in true blog humor, it was near miserable outside.

Moving on! I never really wear jewel tones, but I think they are such a beautiful way to winterize your wardrobe without falling into an all black trap! Mumu is also a lovely brand because you typically size down and it still fits well. I always am uneasy about sizing up or down because it either looks like I’m smuggling 14 puppies under my blouse or it will be pulling in all the wrong areas if too small. Even though Mumu runs larger, you still get a really proportioned size so you feel comfortable.

If you have a casual winter wedding this would be a perfect dress with tights and booties. Casual weddings in the summer? No problem. Give me a sundress and baby pink gloss and I’m good to go for dancing on the dance floor all night. A casual wedding in the winter gives me 100% anxiety. But when this dress came in I knew this would be the perfect piece!

Enjoy your Sunday evening! And if you haven’t, try out my Sunday night routine! I’d love to know if it helps prepare you for your week ahead. 🙂
