I wouldn’t ever describe my style as simple. Bold pink lips, layered bracelets and prints are what my arm reaches for daily.
With May almost here I start to swap soups for salads, powder blush for cream and bracelet stacks for statement bangles. I’m not as classic and simple, but I do try to simplify my look to make up for the heat. Texas heat doesn’t play around and layered bracelets don’t do it any favors.
I’ve had my eyes peeled for two statement pieces I could layer and feel as if it stayed true to my style, without feeling too weighed down in the summer heat. The Julie Vos Baroque Cuff was actually my first Julie Vos investment piece I purchased! I invested in this piece last summer and it’s been so fun to style. This summer I added in the Sienna Hinge Bangle to stack on top! I just roll up the sleeves of whatever top I’m wearing, pile these two on top of each other and it has seriously been one of my favorite jewelry looks.
Speaking of simplifying, I’ve been swapping out some of the bold pieces in our living room for softer ones. From a Parisian marble coffee table to a new entryway piece, it’s been fun to keep my eyes peeled for pieces that create a cozy, yet chic look. Next up I’d love to swap out our black and white curtains for these. Last night I found a piece at Homegoods for our entryway for a steal! Paul was a little unsure of if I’d actually like it because it was so different, but I’m on the hunt for some vintage drawer pulls to make it unique. The marble coffee table softened the look of our living room so much, and allows me to keep my eclectic touches with what I put on top.

I love this look, and those bracelets are beautiful! They make a statement and dress you up instantly with little fuss! I love cuffs in the summer as well as tassel bracelets, or basically any jewelry with tassels on it haha!
