Welcome to our first budget gift guide of the year! With 40 gifts $40 and under, you can find stocking stuffers, Secret Santa gifts, and items for all the girls on your list! I’ll also share some options for men below. If you are looking for more stocking stuffers, don’t miss last year’s post. It is still one of my favorites to date!

1. Makeup Bag | Stephanie Johnson is one of my favorite brands for makeup bags. I include her pieces each year and y’all always sell them out. If you love her items, act fast. These are usually gone by the first week of December.

2. CZ Stud Earrings | Nordstrom makes my favorite CZ studs! I love luxe jewelry, but I still get very nervous about nice studs. These look incredible and I feel comfortable swimming or vacationing in them thanks to the price point.

3. Bazar Book | This is the perfect gift for the fashion lover’s coffee table.

4. Ouai Hair Kit | Thanks to the celebrity following, Ouai is a brand most girls want to try! If you do a Secret Santa exchange with girlfriends, I’d pick this up.

5. Facial Cotton | Years ago, I used to do a big fat eye roll to facial cotton. Can’t you just get the $2 pack at Target? You can! But, if you need a stocking stuffer, these $10 pads by Colleen Rothschild are every bit as dreamy as you’d imagine. They feel like pillows on your face and I use them for nights I do a long pampering skincare routine. I don’t use these to take my makeup off, but more for serums or toners.

6. Faux Fur Slippers | Slippers are one of my favorite holiday gifts to receive because I’m such a homebody. Faux Fur slippers are great for your sister or sister-in-law!

7. Heart Drop Earrings | Heart earrings are on trend and will carry into 2019! Most you’ll find have a designer price tag, so I love this option as a gift.

8. Sugar Lips | These are my absolute favorite candies! We gave them as favors for my baby shower and I can’t allow them in our home or I eat them all. Throw these in a stocking or coffee mug as a gift.

9. O-Venture Key Ring | This is one of my most used items- ever! I got this last year and if you know a mom-to-be or mama, get her this! With a toddler on my hip and a bag, it leaves little room to hold keys. You throw this key ring on your wrist and you don’t have to worry.

10. Star & Moon Bangle | Love this bangle for your friend with the perfect boho style!

11. Hand Cream | Colleen Rothschild makes my favorite hand cream. It brightens your skin and fights age spots, which make it great skincare for your hands. It is rich but dries quickly, so you aren’t left with wet greasy hands-which is my biggest pet peeve with hand creams!

12. Coffee Table Book | This is one of my favorite coffee table books- which is saying a lot since I seem to buy way too many of them. It’s also a good size {not too large, not too small} so it makes a perfect gift for your friend that just moved.

13. Mom’s One Line a Day Journal | Another option for a mommy-to-be! She can set this on her feeding table and jot down notes quickly. It’s an easy way to document and not be overwhelmed.

14. TULA Brightening Sheet Mask | You may have seen these cute masks all over Instagram and they are my top stocking stuffer pick of the year! This is a brightening sheet mask which is perfect before all your holiday parties. Use my code “KATEY” for 20% off.

15. Gold Card Holder | Have a friend that has everything? This gold card holder looks designer but is only $40. These card holders are so versatile and she can use them for her debit cards, gift cards or even coupons!

16. GLAMholder | A GLAMholder is a great gift for a girl that loves organization. This can be set on her GLAMbox, vanity, or bathroom counter. Use it to sort makeup brushes, mascara, skincare, and perfume.

17. Juliska Mug | Juliska is a brand I don’t own, but am dying to get my hands on! This mug is the perfect gift for the classic girl in your life. I always try to sort through older mugs and keep a classic set. Add in a $10 Starbucks gift card or your favorite coffee beans and you’ve got a fabulous gift for your bestie.

18. Jouer Lip Kit | These lip kits have been on my gifting list since May. I originally purchased one for myself and the packaging was so gift-worthy, I ordered a few for my gift closet. You get a full-size lip liner, a mini liquid lipstick, and a mini lip topper.

19. Truffle Clarity Mini | Have a girl that likes to keep things neat? Grab her a Truffle pouch. I love to use these store cords, travel items, and essential oils.

20. Kate Spade Cat iPhone Case | I don’t even have a cat, but I can’t ever resist these Kate Spade phone cases!

21. Signet Ring | A signet ring will always be in style!

22. Butter Dish | I may be alone here, but I love sweet butter dishes. We are a HUGE toast family {Dave’s Killer Bread is our pick} and so I love to keep cute butter dishes on the counter so our butter stays soft.

23. Bling Brush | I have blogged about this for a few years now and showed a before and after on stories this week. This is always included as a stocking stuffer gift from me and it is the perfect gift for your newly engaged friend.

24. Huda Beauty Liquid Lipsticks | Give me a butter dish and a Huda Beauty liquid lipstick set and I’d be a very happy girl this Christmas. Have you tried Huda Beauty liquid lipstick?!

25. LALICIOUS Oil | This is my oil of all oils. If you follow my Insta Stories I have talked about this product a lot recently. I used it before I was pregnant and still do. I put it on my cuticles, elbows, and my wrists and ankles before I self tan. I put this on all over right after the bath to stay moisturized in the winter. The scent is enough to make this worthy of gifting!

26. Rose Quartz Roller | A roller is one of the best things you can do for your skin in your twenties and thirties! If you aren’t into facials {or don’t have time/budget- which I agree with!} use a facial roller. It’s a mini workout for your face {roll up} and helps with toning and tightening of the skin. Use after you apply your moisturizers or oil as you don’t want to be too hard with friction no your face.

27. MAC Dusky Rose Times Nine Eyeshadow Pallet | I think the MAC Times Nine palettes might be the best eyeshadow palettes for the price on the market. I’ve had Amber Times Nine and Dusky Rose Times Nine. It is a $53 value for $32.

28. Sigma Eye Brush Set | Makeup brushes are one of the top searched gifts for the holidays and Sigma makes the best gift sets!

29. Earring Tray | I use these Shopbop trays to organize earrings and bracelets in my closet. They were especially handy when we lived with my parents while we built our home. I think the earring tray is the perfect gift for your friend that loves to accessorize.

30. Link Bracelet | Y’all always love link bracelets, so I had to include this perfectly-priced option by Rebecca Minkoff!

31. Velvet Scrunchies | I’m thrilled velvet scrunchies are back and this pink set is too cute to pass up. Even if you don’t wear them out and about, these are great for putting your hair up to take your makeup off, because they won’t crease your hair.

32. Tortoise Hoops | Tortoise hoops are the perfect gift for your mother or mother-in-law! They are the right amount of classic with a trendy shape.

33. Kendra Scott Votive | Kendra Scott candles will fill your entire home in 15 minutes! I just smelled their holiday candle while I was shopping in store last week and it is unreal! This votive fits the budget and can be placed on your girlfriend’s desk, nightstand, or entryway table. She won’t burn through it too quickly since they give a great fragrance quickly.

34. Pom Pom Beanie | These pom pom beanies always sell out so quickly by December, so I had to include this neutral option!

35. Ornament | A MacKenzie-Childs ornament is a gift I’d never turn down. I love the color scheme of this year’s ornaments! It works on a traditional green or flocked tree.

36. Bright Eyes Set | Eye patches are a must-have in any beauty lover’s vanity, and I am obsessed with this set for the holidays. This is the brand that makes the Glopro.

37. Canvas Tote | A Lands’ End tote is a gift that will get used year after year no matter the recipient! I love that you can easily gift these to people when you are a little unsure of what they like. Everyone has to tote around stuff, no?!

38. Jewelry Roll | Get this jewelry roll for your girlfriend that is always on the go!

39. Stemless Wine Cup | I recently bought this and their coffee mug and LOVE that they can go in the dishwasher!

40. Stain Removal Kit | This will be a much-appreciated gift for a mommy-to-be!

Thanks for the recommendations! You seem like such a good gift giver. Any ideas for teachers, neighbors, Sunday school teachers? You know, the people you know, but not really. Would love to see a post on this!

Hi Olivia! Thank you so much! My neighbors read my blog but they’ll get their gifts soon enough so I’ll go ahead and share. 😉 I’m making baskets! I did a Nest votive candle, some special jams, biscuits, and cookies from William-Sonoma, and then I added in these Fort Worth Cards. I found them at a gift market, but they decorated a deck of cards with landmarks from our city. Thought it was a cute thing for their coffee table! For Maxi’s teachers, I am doing an ornament, a painting she drew them and then a Visa gift card. We don’t have Sunday School at our church, but growing up we did, and my mom always baked fresh breads and added Starbucks gift cards. I hope that helps! xo, Katey
