Sephora Beauty Insider Sale

My Sweatshirt

The Sephora Beauty Insider sale starts today and it is one where I stock up on those items in my makeup bag that are a little pricier. This is a sitewide sale that only happens twice a year, which explains all the buzz about it. Today, I’m running through my top 10 COF recommendations for you and how I use them/where you’ve seen them reviewed. You may be curious about this sale, and you have to be a Sephora Beauty Insider Member, which is a free membership program where you get points per dollar you spend. You just sign up, accrue your points, and shop!

The tiers are based on how much you spend throughout the year, and today, Rouge members can shop. Use code SPRINGSAVE at checkout!

Benefit Blushes

I’ve been ridiculously loyal to Benefit blushes for well over a year or so. Anytime I stray from my usual “Galifornia” {shade on the left} and now “Georgia” {shade on the right} I look in the mirror and think, “Hmm…that doesn’t look like me!” Who knew a blush could be such a staple? I love Benefit blushes because they are wildly pigmented, so you just tap your brush lightly and you’re good to go. While I do try my best to stick to makeup expiration dates, the blush on the left is well over and I haven’t even hit pan. I use it daily if that tells you how long this little baby will last you. I recently purchased the shade “Georgia” {shade on the right} and it’s the softest peach shade, while “Galifornia” is more of a punchy coral. And yes, Maxi had her hand at “Georgia.” She loves to put makeup on me and sometimes she’s a little heavy-handed. I guess she knows her mama likes a full face. 😉 If you’d like to see what “Galifornia” looks like, you can see my makeup routine blog post here!

My Personal Sale Purchase: I’m purchasing this Benefit cheek palette during the sale. I’ve tried all of these shades, except for “Sugarbomb,” and love them! So it is a great value to have this on hand. Shop it here.

Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops

These are the tanning drops I use mixed in with my face moisturizer! I’ve raved about these for years and in case you missed my review, I covered them in my “Self Tanners I Use While Pregnant” blog post. I use shade “medium” and just mix a drop or two in my morning moisturizer. You mix it together in your hand, apply as you normally do your moisturizer, and then wash your hands well! This stuff will show up within an hour or two, which is nice because by the time you are out and about for the day you have a lovely glow. This product is also “clean” at Sephora! Shop it here.

Lawless Lip Products

If you want a clean beauty brand with the pigmentation of MAC, meet Lawless. I’m talking you could wear this brand on your wedding day and it wouldn’t budge. The lip products are some of my favorites, and you may have seen this Wellness Wednesday blog post years ago reviewing the liquid lipsticks. Her cream lipsticks and glosses are just as pigmented and you can see them swatched above.

  • Platinum Lipstick: This is an ultra-nude that I use in the center of my pout. Just dab this in the center to create your perfect “lip cocktail.” Many makeup artists add a lighter color in the center to give the appearance of a fuller lip, and a bit of contrast in your lipstick will customize the shade to you! This is similar to MAC “Myth” but more hydrating and has a pink undertone!
  • Annie Lipstick: I say her “Annie” shade is the perfect pink! It has a peachy undertone, which brings some warmth to your face.
  • Glazed Gloss: This is a pearl finish gloss that would go beautifully over any neutral lipstick you have! Her glosses aren’t sticky, either!
  • Annie Gloss: You guessed it, I pair the “Annie” gloss over the “Annie” lipstick. This gloss is very pigmented, so you could honestly wear it sans lipstick or liner and get the same look!

Giorgio Armani Concealer

If you have ever wanted an undereye concealer with the pigmentation of Tarte Shape Tape, but more hydrating, you’ll want this concealer. It is rare I repurchase an undereye concealer over and over and over again. I’m always thinking, “There must be something better to try!” Not with this concealer. I am purchasing two of these during the sale because I am literally SCRAPING whatever product I have left. I even tried to order three drugstore dupes to this and nothing touches it. It’s amazing. I’m shade 1 and you can see it in my makeup tutorial here.

Bumble & Bumble Heat Protectant

This is the heat protectant I use on my hair when it is is wet. If you have dry hair, you will love this product! It almost feels like a leave-in conditioner because once I put it in and comb through, my hair is much more manageable. Shop it here.

Huda Highlight Palette

I supposed a dirty palette is a well-loved palette?! These photos prove that. 😉 This is a highlight that goes on so smooth and isn’t chalky, but gives a gorgeous glow! I mix Santorini and Azores as my usual highlight, and then you can use Ibiza and Capri for anything from blush, to eyeshadow, to an all-over dusting. I get the shade: Pink Sands Edition. You can see it in my makeup tutorial here and shop it here.

Tom Ford Eyeliner

This is one makeup product I just don’t think I’ll ever be able to stray from. I purchased it years ago with a gift card from Christmas, and now no other eyeliner holds a candle to it. First off, I’m not great at liquid liner- BUT this makes anyone a pro. In the photo on the right, you can see two swatches up close. On the left, you see the Tom Ford liner and on the right, you see a drugstore product that is considered a “dupe” for it. Not even close! The Tom Ford dries down without any shine, which I feel looks more subtle. The other eyeliner was drawn with the same technique on the right and do you see how uneven it is? The Tom Ford liner gives you a LOT of control with their felt tip, it’s not a loose tip like a lot of other versions. The other drugstore option bleeds easily. It is pricier, but I only buy this once, MAYBE twice a year. I’m getting one now because I haven’t bought one this year, so I can have a backup for whenever mine runs out. You can see how I use it in this youtube tutorial here or my makeup routine here.

Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Nude Lip Liner

For a pinky nude, I live by MAC “Soar” liner. When it comes to a true nude, I’ve really only found ONE that I love. Yes, my makeup area has 14 different nude lines that I’ve bought thinking they could “be the one” but in reality, I could probably toss most and this one beats them. Charlotte Tilbury Liner in “Iconic Nude” is a true nude with no warm undertones, it’s much more brown- which I prefer! I’m fair so I really don’t like liners with a warm undertone. I use this with Charlotte Tilbury “Kim K W” lipstick and I’ll have a photo below showing what it looks like! It goes on so smooth but doesn’t fade! Shop it here.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray

I have repurchased this thickening spray for the last 6-ish years, and it makes even the finest hair feel full. Anytime I tease or do a girlfriend’s hair, I use this on her! In the photo below you can see what it looks like once you use. To use, once you curl or style your hair, angle the can 90 degrees underneath the bottom of your hair. Kind of like you are just spraying up towards the end of the hair. I spray and tousle my hair as I’m doing so. Below is how it looks! Shop it here.

Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks

Left to Right: “Lost Cherry,” “Bosworth’s Beauty” {not online}, “Kim K W

If you are looking for a new lipstick, don’t skip over the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks on sale! The most iconic one is “Pillow Talk” and you can see it here on me. These are highly pigmented, but also creamy, so they don’t dry your lips out like a liquid lipstick.

{Lipstick: Iconic Nude Liner & Kim K W Lipstick}

One last little thing I thought I would include! This is the curling iron I’ve been using the past few months. I’ve been using the T3 curling iron with the 1.5″ barrel. It’s on sale here. It gives a looser wave which I’ve been loving.

Let me know what you grab from the sale!
